Acts of the Jewish Apostles 6-7
Act 6:1 בימים ההם כאשר רבו התלמידים היתה תלונת היהודים היונים על־העבריים על־אשר העלימו עיניהם מאלמנותיהם לבלתי־תת להן יום יום את־ארוחתן׃
Act 6:2 ויקראו שנים העשר את־המון התלמידים ויאמרו לא־נאוה לנו כי נעזב את־דבר האלהים ונשמש את־השלחנות׃
Act 6:3 לכן אחי ברו־לכם שבעה אנשים מקרבכם אשר שם טוב להם ומלאים רוח הקדש וחכמה ונפקידם על־הענין הזה׃
Act 6:4 ואנחנו נשקד על־התפלה ועל־שמוש הדבר׃
Act 6:5 וייטב הדבר לפני כל־ההמון ויבחרו את־אסטפנוס איש מלא אמונה ורוח הקדש ואת־פילפוס ואת־פרוכורוס ואת־ניקנור ואת־טימון ואת־פרמנס ואת־ניקלס גר אנטיוכיא׃
Act 6:6 את־אלה העמידו לפני השליחים ויתפללו ויסמכו את־ידיהם עליהם׃
Act 6:7 ויהי דבר האלהים הולך וגדל וירב מספר התלמידים בירושלים עד־מאד וגם־המון רב מן־הכהנים הטו את־לבם אל־האמונה׃
Act 6:8 ואסטפנוס מלא חסד וגבורה ויעש אתות ומופתים גדולים בקרב העם׃
Act 6:9 ויקומו אנשים מבית־הכנסת הנקרא על־שם הליברטינים ושל־קורינים ואלכסנדריים ומן־בני קיליקיא ואסיא ויתוכחו עם־אסטפנוס׃
Act 6:10 ולא יכלו עמד לנגד החכמה והרוח אשר־דבר בו׃
Act 6:11 ויסיתו בו אנשים לאמר שמענו אתו מדבר גדופים במשה ובאלהים׃
Act 6:12 ויעוררו את־העם ואת־הזקנים והסופרים ויקומו עליו ויחטפהו ויביאהו לפני סנהדרין׃
Act 6:13 ויעמידו עדי שקר אשר אמרו האיש הזה איננו חדל להטיח דברים נגד מקום הקדש הזה ונגד התורה׃
Act 6:14 כי שמענהו אמר זה ישוע הנצרי יתץ את־המקום הזה וישנה את־החקים אשר מסר־לנו משה׃
Act 6:15 ויסתכלו בו כל־הישבים בסנהדרין ויראו והנה פניו כפני מלאך אלהים׃
Act 7:1 ויאמר הכהן הגדול האמת דברם׃
Act 7:2 ויען ויאמר אנשים אחים ואבות שמעו אלהי הכבוד נראה אל־אברהם אבינו בהיותו בארם נהרים טרם ישב בחרן׃
Act 7:3 ויאמר אליו לך־לך מארצך וממולדתך ובא אל־הארץ אשר ארא׃
Act 7:4 ויצא מארץ כשדים וישב בחרן ואחרי מות אביו העביר אתו משם אל־הארץ הזאת אשר אתם ישבים בה כיום הזה׃
Act 7:5 ולא נתן לו בה נחלה אף־לא מדרך כף־רגל ויבטח לתתה לאחזה לו ולזרעו אחריו בטרם היה־לו בן׃
Act 7:6 ויאמר לו אלהים כי־גר יהיה זרעו בארץ לא להם ועבדום וענו אתם ארבע מאות שנה׃
Act 7:7 וגם את־הגוי אשר יעבדו דן אנכי אמר אלהים ואחרי־כן יצאו ויעבדוני במקום הזה׃
Act 7:8 ויתן־לו את־ברית המילה וכן הוליד את־יצחק וימל אתו ביום השמיני ויצחק הוליד את־יעקב ויעקב הוליד את־שנים עשר האבות׃
Act 7:9 ויקנאו האבות ביוסף וימכרו אותו מצרימה ואלהים היה עמו׃
Act 7:10 ויצילהו מכל־צרותיו ויתן־לו חן וחכמה לפני פרעה מלך מצרים וישימהו שליט על־מצרים ועל כל־ביתו׃
Act 7:11 ויהי רעב על־כל־ארץ מצרים וכנען וצרה גדולה ואבותינו לא־מצאו אכל׃
Act 7:12 וישמע יעקב כי יש־שבר במצרים וישלח־שמה את־אבותינו בפעם הראשונה׃
Act 7:13 ובפעם השנית התודע יוסף אל־אחיו ומולדת יוסף נגלתה לפרעה׃
Act 7:14 וישלח יוסף ויקרא ליעקב אביו ולכל־משפחתו שבעים וחמש נפש׃
Act 7:15 וירד יעקב מצרימה וימת הוא ואבותינו׃
Act 7:16 ויובאו שכמה ויושמו בקבר אשר קנה אברהם בכספו מיד בני־חמור אבי שכם׃
Act 7:17 ויהי כאשר קרבה עת השבועה אשר נשבע אלהים לאברהם ויגדל העם וירב במצרים׃
Act 7:18 עד כי־קם מלך אחר אשר לא־ידע את־יוסף׃
Act 7:19 וזה התחכם למשפחתנו וירע לאבותינו להשליך את־עלליהם אל־פני השדה לבלתי החיותם׃
Act 7:20 בעת ההיא נולד משה ויהי־טוב לאלהים ויהי אמון בבית אביו שלשה ירחים׃
Act 7:21 וכאשר השלך אספה אתו בת־פרעה ותגדלהו לה לבן׃
Act 7:22 וילמד משה בכל־חכמת מצרים ויהי גבור בדברים ובמעשים׃
Act 7:23 ובמלאת־לו ארבעים שנה עלה על־לבו לפקד את־אחיו בני ישראל׃
Act 7:24 וירא איש אחד מכה חנם ויושע לו ויקם נקמת המכה בהכותו את־המצרי׃
Act 7:25 ויחשב בלבבו כי יבינו אחיו אשר על־ידו יתן האלהים להם תשועה והם לא הבינו׃
Act 7:26 ויהי ביום השני ויבא בתוכם והם נצים ויבקש לעשות שלום ביניהם לאמר אנשים אחים אתם ולמה תכו איש את־אחיו׃
Act 7:27 והמכה את־רעהו הדפו לאמר מי שמך לאיש שר ושפט עלינו׃
Act 7:28 הלהרגני אתה אמר כאשר הרגת אתמל את־המצרי׃
Act 7:29 ויברח משה על־הדבר הזה ויהי־גר בארץ מדין ויולד שם שני בנים׃
Act 7:30 ובמלאת ארבעים שנה נראה אליו מלאך במדבר הר סיני בלבת־אש מתוך הסנה׃
Act 7:31 וירא משה ויתמה על־המראה ובסורו לראות ויהי־קול יהוה אליו׃
Act 7:32 אנכי אלהי אבותיך אלהי אברהם אלהי יצחק ואלהי יעקב ויחרד משה ויירא מהביט׃
Act 7:33 ויאמר אליו יהוה של נעליך מעל רגליך כי המקום אשר אתה עומד עליו אדמת־קדש הוא׃
Act 7:34 ראה ראיתי את־עני עמי אשר במצרים ואת־נאקתם שמעתי וארד להצילם ועתה לכה ואשלחך מצרימה׃
Act 7:35 הוא משה אשר כחשו־בו לאמר מי שמך לשר ושפט אתו שלח האלהים לשר וגאל ביד המלאך הנראה אליו בסנה׃
Act 7:36 והוא הוציאם ויעש אתות ומפתים בארץ מצרים ובים־סוף ובמדבר ארבעים שנה׃
Act 7:37 הוא משה אשר אמר אל־בני ישראל נביא מקרב אחיכם כמני יקים לכם יהוה אלהיכם אליו תשמעון׃
Act 7:38 הוא אשר היה בקהל במדבר עם־המלאך הדבר אליו בהר סיני ועם־אבותינו ואשר קבל דברים חיים לתת לנו׃
Act 7:39 הוא אשר אבותינו לא אבו לשמע לו וימאסו אתו ולבבם פנה מצרימה׃
Act 7:40 ויאמרו אל־אהרון עשה־לנו אלהים אשר ילכו לפנינו כי זה משה אשר העלנו מארץ מצרים לא ידענו מה־היה לו׃
Act 7:41 ויעשו עגל בימים ההם ויזבחו זבחים לאליל וישמחו במעשה ידיהם׃
Act 7:42 ויפן מהם האלהים ויתנם לעבד את־צבא השמים ככתוב בספר הנביאים הזבחים ומנחה הגשתם־לי במדבר ארבעים שנה בית ישראל׃
Act 7:43 ונשאתם את סכת מלכם ואת־כוכב אלהיכם רמפן הצלמים אשר עשיתם להשתחות להם והגליתי אתכם מהלאה לבבל׃
Act 7:44 משכן העדות היה לאבותינו במדבר אשר עשה משה כתבנית אשר ראה כאשר צוה אתו המדבר אליו׃
Act 7:45 ואבותינו לקחהו וגם־הביאהו אתם הם ויהושע ברשתם את־ארצות הגוים אשר גרש אתם אלהים מפני אבותינו עד־ימי דוד׃
Act 7:46 והוא מצא חן בעיני אלהים וישאל למצא משכנות לאלהי יעקב׃
Act 7:47 ושלמה בנה־לו בית׃
Act 7:48 אבל העליון לא ישכן בהיכלות מעשי ידים כאשר אמר הנביא׃
Act 7:49 השמים כסאי והארץ הדם רגלי אי־זה בית אשר תבנו־לי אמר יהוה ואי־זה מקום מנוחתי׃
Act 7:50 הלא את־כל־אלה ידי־עשתה׃
Act 7:51 קשי ערף וערלי לב ואזנים ממרים הייתם תמיד ברוח הקדש כאבותיכם גם־אתם׃
Act 7:52 מי מהנביאים אשר לא רדפוהו אבותיכם אף־המיתו את המבשרים מקדם ביאת הצדיק אשר עתה הייתם אתם מוסריו ומרצחיו׃
Act 7:53 אתם אשר קבלתם את־התורה על־ידי מלאכות המלאכים ולא שמרתם אותה׃
Act 7:54 ויהי כשמעם את־אלה ויגע בהם עד נפש ויחרקו עליו שניהם׃
Act 7:55 והוא מלא רוח הקדש ויבט השמימה וירא את־כבוד אלהים ואת־ישוע נצב לימין האלהים׃
Act 7:56 ויאמר הנני ראה את־השמים נפתחים ואת בן־האדם נצב לימין האלהים׃
Act 7:57 ויזעקו קול גדול ויאטמו את־אזניהם ויתנפלו עליו כלם יחד׃
Act 7:58 וידחפהו חוצה לעיר ויסקלו אתו באבנים והעדים פשטו את־בגדיהם לרגלי בחור אחד ושמו שאול׃
Act 7:59 ויסקלו את־אסטפנוס והוא משוע ואמר אדני ישוע קבל את־רוחי׃
Act 7:60 ויכרע על־ברכיו ויזעק קול גדול יהוה אל־תשמר להם את־החטא הזה ויהי אחרי דברו כדבר הזה ויישן׃

Act 6:1 And in those days, when the taught ones were increasing, there arose a grumbling against the Heḇrews by the Hellenists, because their widows were overlooked in the daily serving.
Act 6:2 So the twelve summoned the group of the taught ones and said, “It is not pleasing for us to leave the Word of Elohim and serve tables.
Act 6:3 “Therefore, brothers, seek out from among you seven men who are known to be filled with the Ruach HaKodesh and wisdom, whom we shall appoint for this duty,
Act 6:4 but we shall give ourselves continually to prayer and to serving the Word.”
Act 6:5 And the word pleased the entire group. And they chose Stephanos, a man filled with belief and the Ruach HaKodesh, and Philip, and Prochoros, and Nikanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nikolaos, a convert from Antioch,
Act 6:6 whom they set before the emissaries. And when they had prayed, they laid hands on them.
Act 6:7 And the Word of Elohim spread, and the number of the taught ones increased greatly in Yerushalayim, and a great many of the kohanim were obedient to the belief.
Act 6:8 And Stephanos, filled with belief and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.
Act 6:9 But some of those of the so-called Congregation of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Kilikia and Asia), rose up, disputing with Stephanos,
Act 6:10 but they were unable to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke.
Act 6:11 Then they instigated men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moshe and Elohim.”
Act 6:12 And they stirred up the people, and the elders, and the scribes, so they came upon him, seized him, and brought him to the council.
Act 6:13 And they set up false witnesses who said, “This man does not cease to speak blasphemous words against this Kadosh place and the Torah,
Act 6:14 for we have heard him saying that this יהושע of Natzeret shall overthrow this place and change the institutes which Moshe delivered unto us.”
Act 6:15 And all who sat in the council, looking steadily at him, saw his face was like the face of a malachei.
Act 7:1 And the kohen gadol said, “Is this so?”
Act 7:2 And he replied, “Men, brothers and fathers, listen: The Elohim of esteem appeared to our father Avraham when he was in Aram Naharayim, before he dwelt in Ḥaran,
Act 7:3 and said to him, ‘Come out of your land and from your relatives, and come here, into a land that I shall show you.’
Act 7:4 “Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Ḥaran. And from there, after the death of his father, He removed him to this land in which you now dwell.
Act 7:5 “And He gave him no inheritance in it, not a foot of it. But He promised to give it to him for a possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no child.
Act 7:6 “And Elohim spoke in this way: that his seed would be sojourning in a foreign land, and that they would be enslaved and mistreated four hundred years.
Act 7:7 ‘And the nation to whom they shall be enslaved, I shall judge,’ said Elohim, ‘and after that they shall come out and serve Me in this place.’
Act 7:8 “And He gave him the covenant of circumcision. And so he brought forth Yitzchak and circumcised him on the eighth day. And Yitzchak brought forth Ya`akov̱, and Ya`akov̱ brought forth the twelve ancestors.
Act 7:9 “And the ancestors, becoming jealous, sold Yosĕph into Mitsrayim. But Elohim was with him,
Act 7:10 and delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor and wisdom before Pharaoh, sovereign of Mitsrayim. And he appointed him governor over Mitsrayim and all his house.
Act 7:11 “Then a scarcity of food and great distress came over all the land of Mitsrayim and Kena‘an, and our fathers found no food.
Act 7:12 “But Ya`akov̱ heard that there was grain in Mitsrayim, and he sent out our fathers the first time,
Act 7:13 and at the second time Yosĕph was made known to his brothers, and Yosĕph’s race became known to the Pharaoh.
Act 7:14 “And Yosĕph sent and called his father Ya`akov̱ and all his relatives to him, seventy-five people.
Act 7:15 “And Ya`akov̱ went down to Mitsrayim, and died, he and our fathers,
Act 7:16 and they were brought over to Sheḵem and laid in the tomb that Avraham bought for a price of silver from the sons of Ḥamor, the father of Sheḵem.
Act 7:17 “But as the time of the promise drew near which Elohim had sworn to Avraham, the people increased and multiplied in Mitsrayim
Act 7:18 until another sovereign arose who did not know Yosĕph.
Act 7:19 “Having dealt treacherously with our race, this one mistreated our fathers, making them expose their babies, so that they should not live.
Act 7:20 “At that time Moshe was born, and he was well-pleasing to Elohim. And he was reared three months in the house of his father.
Act 7:21 “But when he was exposed, the daughter of Pharaoh took him up and reared him as her own son.
Act 7:22 “And Moshe was instructed in all the wisdom of the Mitsrites, and was mighty in words and works.
Act 7:23 “And when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brothers, the children of Yisra’ĕl.
Act 7:24 “And seeing one of them being wronged, he defended and revenged him who was oppressed, smiting the Mitsrite.
Act 7:25 “And he thought that his brothers would have understood that Elohim would give deliverance to them by his hand, but they did not understand.
Act 7:26 “And the next day he appeared to two of them as they were fighting, and urged them to peace, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers, why do you wrong one another?’
Act 7:27 “But he who was wronging his neighbor pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?
Act 7:28 ‘Do you wish to kill me as you killed the Mitsrite yesterday?’
Act 7:29 “And at this saying, Moshe fled and became a sojourner in the land of Miḏyan, where he fathered two sons.
Act 7:30 “And after forty years were completed, a Messenger of יהוה appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Har Sinai.
Act 7:31 “And Moshe, seeing it, marveled at the sight, and coming near to look, the voice of יהוה came to him,
Act 7:32 saying, ‘I am the Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Avraham and the Elohim of Yitzchak and the Elohim of Ya`akov̱.’ And Moshe trembled and did not have the courage to look.
Act 7:33 ‘But יהוה said to him, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is kadosh ground.
Act 7:34 “I have certainly seen the evil treatment of my people who are in Mitsrayim, and I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. And now come, let Me send you to Mitsrayim.” ’
Act 7:35 “This Moshe whom they had refused, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ – this one Elohim sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Messenger who appeared to him in the bush.
Act 7:36 “This one led them out, after he had done wonders and signs in the land of Mitsrayim, and in the Yam Suf, and in the wilderness forty years.
Act 7:37 “This is the Moshe who said to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear.’
Act 7:38 “This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the Messenger who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received the living Words to give to us,
Act 7:39 unto whom our fathers would not become obedient, but thrust away, and in their hearts they turned back to Mitsrayim,
Act 7:40 saying to Aharon, ‘Make us mighty ones to go before us, for this Moshe who led us out of the land of Mitsrayim, we do not know what has become of him.’
Act 7:41 “And they made a calf in those days, and brought an offering to the idol, and were rejoicing in the works of their own hands.
Act 7:42 “So Elohim turned and gave them up to worship the host of the heaven, as it has been written in the book of the Prophets, ‘Did you bring slaughtered beasts and offerings unto Me during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Yisra’ĕl?
Act 7:43 ‘And you took up the Sukkah of Moleḵ, and the star of your mighty one Kiyyun, images which you made to bow before them. Therefore I shall remove you beyond Baḇel.’
Act 7:44 “The Sukkah of Witness was with our fathers in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moshe to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,
Act 7:45 which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Y’hoshua into the land possessed by the goyim, whom Elohim drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of Dawiḏ,
Act 7:46 who found favor before Elohim and asked to find a dwelling for the Elohim of Ya`akov̱,
Act 7:47 but Shlomo built Him a house.
Act 7:48 “However, the Most High does not dwell in dwellings made with hands,1 as the prophet says: Footnote: 1See 17:24.
Act 7:49 ‘The heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What house shall you build for Me? says יהוה, or what is the place of My rest?
Act 7:50 ‘Has My hand not made all these?’
Act 7:51 “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Ruach HaKodesh, as your fathers did, you also do.
Act 7:52 “Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers,
Act 7:53 who received the Torah as it was ordained by messengers, but did not watch over it.”1 Footnote: 1See Mt. 5:20.
Act 7:54 And hearing this they were cut to the hearts and gnashed the teeth at him.
Act 7:55 But he, being filled with the Ruach HaKodesh, looked steadily into the heaven and saw the esteem of Elohim, and יהושע standing at the right hand of Elohim,
Act 7:56 and he said, “Look! I see the heavens opened and the Son of Aḏam standing at the right hand of Elohim!”
Act 7:57 And crying out with a loud voice, they stopped their ears, and rushed upon him with one mind,
Act 7:58 and threw him out of the city and stoned him. And the witnesses laid down their garments at the feet of a young man named Sha’ul.
Act 7:59 And they were stoning Stephanos as he was calling and saying, “Master יהושע, receive my spirit.”
Act 7:60 And kneeling down he cried out with a loud voice, “Master, do not hold this sin against them.” And having said this, he fell asleep.

Act 7:14 “And Yosĕph sent and called his father Ya`akov̱ and all his relatives to him, seventy-five people.
Act 7:15 “And Ya`akov̱ went down to Mitsrayim, and died, he and our fathers,
Act 7:16 and they were brought over to Sheḵem and laid in the tomb that Avraham bought for a price of silver from the sons of Ḥamor, the father of Sheḵem.
Act 7:17 “But as the time of the promise drew near which Elohim had sworn to Avraham, the people increased and multiplied in Mitsrayim
Act 7:18 until another sovereign arose who did not know Yosĕph.
Act 7:19 “Having dealt treacherously with our race, this one mistreated our fathers, making them expose their babies, so that they should not live.
Act 7:20 “At that time Moshe was born, and he was well-pleasing to Elohim. And he was reared three months in the house of his father.
Act 7:21 “But when he was exposed, the daughter of Pharaoh took him up and reared him as her own son.
Act 7:22 “And Moshe was instructed in all the wisdom of the Mitsrites, and was mighty in words and works.
Act 7:23 “And when he was forty years old, it came into his heart to visit his brothers, the children of Yisra’ĕl.
Act 7:24 “And seeing one of them being wronged, he defended and revenged him who was oppressed, smiting the Mitsrite.
Act 7:25 “And he thought that his brothers would have understood that Elohim would give deliverance to them by his hand, but they did not understand.
Act 7:26 “And the next day he appeared to two of them as they were fighting, and urged them to peace, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers, why do you wrong one another?’
Act 7:27 “But he who was wronging his neighbor pushed him away, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?
Act 7:28 ‘Do you wish to kill me as you killed the Mitsrite yesterday?’
Act 7:29 “And at this saying, Moshe fled and became a sojourner in the land of Miḏyan, where he fathered two sons.
Act 7:30 “And after forty years were completed, a Messenger of יהוה appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Har Sinai.
Act 7:31 “And Moshe, seeing it, marveled at the sight, and coming near to look, the voice of יהוה came to him,
Act 7:32 saying, ‘I am the Elohim of your fathers, the Elohim of Avraham and the Elohim of Yitzchak and the Elohim of Ya`akov̱.’ And Moshe trembled and did not have the courage to look.
Act 7:33 ‘But יהוה said to him, “Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is kadosh ground.
Act 7:34 “I have certainly seen the evil treatment of my people who are in Mitsrayim, and I have heard their groaning and have come down to deliver them. And now come, let Me send you to Mitsrayim.” ’
Act 7:35 “This Moshe whom they had refused, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ – this one Elohim sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Messenger who appeared to him in the bush.
Act 7:36 “This one led them out, after he had done wonders and signs in the land of Mitsrayim, and in the Yam Suf, and in the wilderness forty years.
Act 7:37 “This is the Moshe who said to the children of Yisra’ĕl, ‘יהוה your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brothers. Him you shall hear.’
Act 7:38 “This is he who was in the assembly in the wilderness with the Messenger who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, who received the living Words to give to us,
Act 7:39 unto whom our fathers would not become obedient, but thrust away, and in their hearts they turned back to Mitsrayim,
Act 7:40 saying to Aharon, ‘Make us mighty ones to go before us, for this Moshe who led us out of the land of Mitsrayim, we do not know what has become of him.’
Act 7:41 “And they made a calf in those days, and brought an offering to the idol, and were rejoicing in the works of their own hands.
Act 7:42 “So Elohim turned and gave them up to worship the host of the heaven, as it has been written in the book of the Prophets, ‘Did you bring slaughtered beasts and offerings unto Me during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Yisra’ĕl?
Act 7:43 ‘And you took up the Sukkah of Moleḵ, and the star of your mighty one Kiyyun, images which you made to bow before them. Therefore I shall remove you beyond Baḇel.’
Act 7:44 “The Sukkah of Witness was with our fathers in the wilderness, as He appointed, instructing Moshe to make it according to the pattern that he had seen,
Act 7:45 which our fathers, having received it in turn, also brought with Y’hoshua into the land possessed by the goyim, whom Elohim drove out before the face of our fathers until the days of Dawiḏ,
Act 7:46 who found favor before Elohim and asked to find a dwelling for the Elohim of Ya`akov̱,
Act 7:47 but Shlomo built Him a house.

Act 7:49 ‘The heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What house shall you build for Me? says יהוה, or what is the place of My rest?

Act 7:51 “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Ruach HaKodesh, as your fathers did, you also do.
Act 7:52 “Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who before announced the coming of the Righteous One, of whom you now have become the betrayers and murderers,

Act 7:54 And hearing this they were cut to the hearts and gnashed the teeth at him.

Yes 50:2 “When I came, why was there no one? When I called, why was there no one to answer? Was My hand too short to redeem? Or have I no power to deliver? See, by My rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness; their fish stink for there is not water, and die of thirst.

Yes 50:4 The Master יהוה has given Me the tongue of taught ones, that I should know to help the weary with a word. He wakes Me morning by morning, he wakes My ear to hear as taught ones.
Yes 50:5 The Master יהוה has opened My ear, and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away.
Yes 50:6 I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard, I did not hide My face from humiliation and spitting.
Yes 50:7 And the Master יהוה helps Me, therefore I shall not be humiliated. So I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I am not put to shame.
Yes 50:8 Near is He who declares Me right. Who would contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me.
Yes 50:9 See, the Master יהוה helps Me. Who would declare Me wrong? See, all of them wear out like a garment, a moth eats them.
Yes 50:10 Who among you is fearing יהוה, obeying the voice of His Servant, that has walked in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the Name of יהוה and lean upon his Elohim!
Yes 50:11 See, all you who light a fire, girding on burning arrows: walk in the light of your fire and in the burning arrows you have lit. From My hand you shall have this: you shall lie down in grief!

Dev 7:18 לא תירא מהם זכר תזכר את אשׁר־עשׂה יהוה אלהיך לפרעה ולכל־מצרים׃
Dev 7:19 המסת הגדלת אשׁר־ראו עיניך והאתת והמפתים והיד החזקה והזרע הנטויה אשׁר הוצאך יהוה אלהיך כן־יעשׂה יהוה אלהיך לכל־העמים אשׁר־אתה ירא מפניהם׃
Dev 7:20 וגם את־הצרעה ישׁלח יהוה אלהיך בם עד־אבד הנשׁארים והנסתרים מפניך׃
Dev 7:21 לא תערץ מפניהם כי־יהוה אלהיך בקרבך אל גדול ונורא׃
Dev 7:22 ונשׁל יהוה אלהיך את־הגוים האל מפניך מעט מעט לא תוכל כלתם מהר פן־תרבה עליך חית השׂדה׃
Dev 7:23 ונתנם יהוה אלהיך לפניך והמם מהומה גדלה עד השׁמדם׃
Dev 7:24 ונתן מלכיהם בידך והאבדת את־שׁמם מתחת השׁמים לא־יתיצב אישׁ בפניך עד השׁמדך אתם׃
Dev 7:25 פסילי אלהיהם תשׂרפון באשׁ לא־תחמד כסף וזהב עליהם ולקחת לך פן תוקשׁ בו כי תועבת יהוה אלהיך הוא׃
Dev 7:26 ולא־תביא תועבה אל־ביתך והיית חרם כמהו שׁקץ תשׁקצנו ותעב תתעבנו כי־חרם הוא׃
Dev 8:1 כל־המצוה אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום תשׁמרון לעשׂות למען תחיון ורביתם ובאתם וירשׁתם את־הארץ אשׁר־נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיכם׃
Dev 8:2 וזכרת את־כל־הדרך אשׁר הוליכך יהוה אלהיך זה ארבעים שׁנה במדבר למען ענתך לנסתך לדעת את־אשׁר בלבבך התשׁמר מצותו אם־לא׃
Dev 8:3 ויענך וירעבך ויאכלך את־המן אשׁר לא־ידעת ולא ידעון אבתיך למען הודיעך כי לא על־הלחם לבדו יחיה האדם כי על־כל־מוצא פי־יהוה יחיה האדם׃
Dev 8:4 שׂמלתך לא בלתה מעליך ורגלך לא בצקה זה ארבעים שׁנה׃
Dev 8:5 וידעת עם־לבבך כי כאשׁר ייסר אישׁ את־בנו יהוה אלהיך מיסרך׃
Dev 8:6 ושׁמרת את־מצות יהוה אלהיך ללכת בדרכיו וליראה אתו׃
Dev 8:7 כי יהוה אלהיך מביאך אל־ארץ טובה ארץ נחלי מים עינת ותהמת יצאים בבקעה ובהר׃
Dev 8:8 ארץ חטה ושׂערה וגפן ותאנה ורמון ארץ־זית שׁמן ודבשׁ׃
Dev 8:9 ארץ אשׁר לא במסכנת תאכל־בה לחם לא־תחסר כל בה ארץ אשׁר אבניה ברזל ומהרריה תחצב נחשׁת׃
Dev 8:10 ואכלת ושׂבעת וברכת את־יהוה אלהיך על־הארץ הטבה אשׁר נתן־לך׃
Dev 8:11 השׁמר לך פן־תשׁכח את־יהוה אלהיך לבלתי שׁמר מצותיו ומשׁפטיו וחקתיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום׃
Dev 8:12 פן־תאכל ושׂבעת ובתים טבים תבנה וישׁבת׃
Dev 8:13 ובקרך וצאנך ירבין וכסף וזהב ירבה־לך וכל אשׁר־לך ירבה׃
Dev 8:14 ורם לבבך ושׁכחת את־יהוה אלהיך המוציאך מארץ מצרים מבית עבדים׃
Dev 8:15 המוליכך במדבר הגדל והנורא נחשׁ שׂרף ועקרב וצמאון אשׁר אין־מים המוציא לך מים מצור החלמישׁ׃
Dev 8:16 המאכלך מן במדבר אשׁר לא־ידעון אבתיך למען ענתך ולמען נסתך להיטבך באחריתך׃
Dev 8:17 ואמרת בלבבך כחי ועצם ידי עשׂה לי את־החיל הזה׃
Dev 8:18 וזכרת את־יהוה אלהיך כי הוא הנתן לך כח לעשׂות חיל למען הקים את־בריתו אשׁר־נשׁבע לאבתיך כיום הזה׃
Dev 8:19 והיה אם־שׁכח תשׁכח את־יהוה אלהיך והלכת אחרי אלהים אחרים ועבדתם והשׁתחוית להם העדתי בכם היום כי אבד תאבדון׃
Dev 8:20 כגוים אשׁר יהוה מאביד מפניכם כן תאבדון עקב לא תשׁמעון בקול יהוה אלהיכם׃
Dev 9:1 שׁמע ישׂראל אתה עבר היום את־הירדן לבא לרשׁת גוים גדלים ועצמים ממך ערים גדלת ובצרת בשׁמים׃
Dev 9:2 עם־גדול ורם בני ענקים אשׁר אתה ידעת ואתה שׁמעת מי יתיצב לפני בני ענק׃
Dev 9:3 וידעת היום כי יהוה אלהיך הוא־העבר לפניך אשׁ אכלה הוא ישׁמידם והוא יכניעם לפניך והורשׁתם והאבדתם מהר כאשׁר דבר יהוה לך׃
Dev 9:4 אל־תאמר בלבבך בהדף יהוה אלהיך אתם מלפניך לאמר בצדקתי הביאני יהוה לרשׁת את־הארץ הזאת וברשׁעת הגוים האלה יהוה מורישׁם מפניך׃
Dev 9:5 לא בצדקתך ובישׁר לבבך אתה בא לרשׁת את־ארצם כי ברשׁעת הגוים האלה יהוה אלהיך מורישׁם מפניך ולמען הקים את־הדבר אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב׃
Dev 9:6 וידעת כי לא בצדקתך יהוה אלהיך נתן לך את־הארץ הטובה הזאת לרשׁתה כי עם־קשׁה־ערף אתה׃
Dev 9:7 זכר אל־תשׁכח את אשׁר־הקצפת את־יהוה אלהיך במדבר למן־היום אשׁר־יצאת מארץ מצרים עד־באכם עד־המקום הזה ממרים הייתם עם־יהוה׃
Dev 9:8 ובחרב הקצפתם את־יהוה ויתאנף יהוה בכם להשׁמיד אתכם׃
Dev 9:9 בעלתי ההרה לקחת לוחת האבנים לוחת הברית אשׁר־כרת יהוה עמכם ואשׁב בהר ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה לחם לא אכלתי ומים לא שׁתיתי׃
Dev 9:10 ויתן יהוה אלי את־שׁני לוחת האבנים כתבים באצבע אלהים ועליהם ככל־הדברים אשׁר דבר יהוה עמכם בהר מתוך האשׁ ביום הקהל׃
Dev 9:11 ויהי מקץ ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה נתן יהוה אלי את־שׁני לחת האבנים לחות הברית׃
Dev 9:12 ויאמר יהוה אלי קום רד מהר מזה כי שׁחת עמך אשׁר הוצאת ממצרים סרו מהר מן־הדרך אשׁר צויתם עשׂו להם מסכה׃
Dev 9:13 ויאמר יהוה אלי לאמר ראיתי את־העם הזה והנה עם־קשׁה־ערף הוא׃
Dev 9:14 הרף ממני ואשׁמידם ואמחה את־שׁמם מתחת השׁמים ואעשׂה אותך לגוי־עצום ורב ממנו׃
Dev 9:15 ואפן וארד מן־ההר וההר בער באשׁ ושׁני לוחת הברית על שׁתי ידי׃
Dev 9:16 וארא והנה חטאתם ליהוה אלהיכם עשׂיתם לכם עגל מסכה סרתם מהר מן־הדרך אשׁר־צוה יהוה אתכם׃
Dev 9:17 ואתפשׂ בשׁני הלחת ואשׁלכם מעל שׁתי ידי ואשׁברם לעיניכם׃
Dev 9:18 ואתנפל לפני יהוה כראשׁנה ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה לחם לא אכלתי ומים לא שׁתיתי על כל־חטאתכם אשׁר חטאתם לעשׂות הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיסו׃
Dev 9:19 כי יגרתי מפני האף והחמה אשׁר קצף יהוה עליכם להשׁמיד אתכם וישׁמע יהוה אלי גם בפעם ההוא׃
Dev 9:20 ובאהרן התאנף יהוה מאד להשׁמידו ואתפלל גם־בעד אהרן בעת ההוא׃
Dev 9:21 ואת־חטאתכם אשׁר־עשׂיתם את־העגל לקחתי ואשׂרף אתו באשׁ ואכת אתו טחון היטב עד אשׁר־דק לעפר ואשׁלך את־עפרו אל־הנחל הירד מן־ההר׃
Dev 9:22 ובתבערה ובמסה ובקברת התאוה מקצפים הייתם את־יהוה׃
Dev 9:23 ובשׁלח יהוה אתכם מקדשׁ ברנע לאמר עלו ורשׁו את־הארץ אשׁר נתתי לכם ותמרו את־פי יהוה אלהיכם ולא האמנתם לו ולא שׁמעתם בקלו׃
Dev 9:24 ממרים הייתם עם־יהוה מיום דעתי אתכם׃
Dev 9:25 ואתנפל לפני יהוה את ארבעים היום ואת־ארבעים הלילה אשׁר התנפלתי כי־אמר יהוה להשׁמיד אתכם׃
Dev 9:26 ואתפלל אל־יהוה ואמר אדני יהוה אל־תשׁחת עמך ונחלתך אשׁר פדית בגדלך אשׁר־הוצאת ממצרים ביד חזקה׃
Dev 9:27 זכר לעבדיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב אל־תפן אל־קשׁי העם הזה ואל־רשׁעו ואל־חטאתו׃
Dev 9:28 פן־יאמרו הארץ אשׁר הוצאתנו משׁם מבלי יכלת יהוה להביאם אל־הארץ אשׁר־דבר להם ומשׂנאתו אותם הוציאם להמתם במדבר׃
Dev 9:29 והם עמך ונחלתך אשׁר הוצאת בכחך הגדל ובזרעך הנטויה׃
Dev 10:1 בעת ההוא אמר יהוה אלי פסל־לך שׁני־לוחת אבנים כראשׁנים ועלה אלי ההרה ועשׂית לך ארון עץ׃
Dev 10:2 ואכתב על־הלחת את־הדברים אשׁר היו על־הלחת הראשׁנים אשׁר שׁברת ושׂמתם בארון׃
Dev 10:3 ואעשׂ ארון עצי שׁטים ואפסל שׁני־לחת אבנים כראשׁנים ואעל ההרה ושׁני הלחת בידי׃
Dev 10:4 ויכתב על־הלחת כמכתב הראשׁון את עשׂרת הדברים אשׁר דבר יהוה אליכם בהר מתוך האשׁ ביום הקהל ויתנם יהוה אלי׃
Dev 10:5 ואפן וארד מן־ההר ואשׂם את־הלחת בארון אשׁר עשׂיתי ויהיו שׁם כאשׁר צוני יהוה׃
Dev 10:6 ובני ישׂראל נסעו מבארת בני־יעקן מוסרה שׁם מת אהרן ויקבר שׁם ויכהן אלעזר בנו תחתיו׃
Dev 10:7 משׁם נסעו הגדגדה ומן־הגדגדה יטבתה ארץ נחלי מים׃
Dev 10:8 בעת ההוא הבדיל יהוה את־שׁבט הלוי לשׂאת את־ארון ברית־יהוה לעמד לפני יהוה לשׁרתו ולברך בשׁמו עד היום הזה׃
Dev 10:9 על־כן לא־היה ללוי חלק ונחלה עם־אחיו יהוה הוא נחלתו כאשׁר דבר יהוה אלהיך לו׃
Dev 10:10 ואנכי עמדתי בהר כימים הראשׁנים ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה וישׁמע יהוה אלי גם בפעם ההוא לא־אבה יהוה השׁחיתך׃
Dev 10:11 ויאמר יהוה אלי קום לך למסע לפני העם ויבאו ויירשׁו את־הארץ אשׁר־נשׁבעתי לאבתם לתת להם׃
Dev 10:12 ועתה ישׂראל מה יהוה אלהיך שׁאל מעמך כי אם־ליראה את־יהוה אלהיך ללכת בכל־דרכיו ולאהבה אתו ולעבד את־יהוה אלהיך בכל־לבבך ובכל־נפשׁך׃
Dev 10:13 לשׁמר את־מצות יהוה ואת־חקתיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לטוב לך׃
Dev 10:14 הן ליהוה אלהיך השׁמים ושׁמי השׁמים הארץ וכל־אשׁר־בה׃
Dev 10:15 רק באבתיך חשׁק יהוה לאהבה אותם ויבחר בזרעם אחריהם בכם מכל־העמים כיום הזה׃
Dev 10:16 ומלתם את ערלת לבבכם וערפכם לא תקשׁו עוד׃
Dev 10:17 כי יהוה אלהיכם הוא אלהי האלהים ואדני האדנים האל הגדל הגבר והנורא אשׁר לא־ישׂא פנים ולא יקח שׁחד׃
Dev 10:18 עשׂה משׁפט יתום ואלמנה ואהב גר לתת לו לחם ושׂמלה׃
Dev 10:19 ואהבתם את־הגר כי־גרים הייתם בארץ מצרים׃
Dev 10:20 את־יהוה אלהיך תירא אתו תעבד ובו תדבק ובשׁמו תשׁבע׃
Dev 10:21 הוא תהלתך והוא אלהיך אשׁר־עשׂה אתך את־הגדלת ואת־הנוראת האלה אשׁר ראו עיניך׃
Dev 10:22 בשׁבעים נפשׁ ירדו אבתיך מצרימה ועתה שׂמך יהוה אלהיך ככוכבי השׁמים לרב׃
Dev 11:1 ואהבת את יהוה אלהיך ושׁמרת משׁמרתו וחקתיו ומשׁפטיו ומצותיו כל־הימים׃
Dev 11:2 וידעתם היום כי לא את־בניכם אשׁר לא־ידעו ואשׁר לא־ראו את־מוסר יהוה אלהיכם את־גדלו את־ידו החזקה וזרעו הנטויה׃
Dev 11:3 ואת־אתתיו ואת־מעשׂיו אשׁר עשׂה בתוך מצרים לפרעה מלך־מצרים ולכל־ארצו׃
Dev 11:4 ואשׁר עשׂה לחיל מצרים לסוסיו ולרכבו אשׁר הציף את־מי ים־סוף על־פניהם ברדפם אחריכם ויאבדם יהוה עד היום הזה׃
Dev 11:5 ואשׁר עשׂה לכם במדבר עד־באכם עד־המקום הזה׃
Dev 11:6 ואשׁר עשׂה לדתן ולאבירם בני אליאב בן־ראובן אשׁר פצתה הארץ את־פיה ותבלעם ואת־בתיהם ואת־אהליהם ואת כל־היקום אשׁר ברגליהם בקרב כל־ישׂראל׃
Dev 11:7 כי עיניכם הראת את־כל־מעשׂה יהוה הגדל אשׁר עשׂה׃
Dev 11:8 ושׁמרתם את־כל־המצוה אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום למען תחזקו ובאתם וירשׁתם את־הארץ אשׁר אתם עברים שׁמה לרשׁתה׃
Dev 11:9 ולמען תאריכו ימים על־האדמה אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיכם לתת להם ולזרעם ארץ זבת חלב ודבשׁ׃
Dev 11:10 כי הארץ אשׁר אתה בא־שׁמה לרשׁתה לא כארץ מצרים הוא אשׁר יצאתם משׁם אשׁר תזרע את־זרעך והשׁקית ברגלך כגן הירק׃
Dev 11:11 והארץ אשׁר אתם עברים שׁמה לרשׁתה ארץ הרים ובקעת למטר השׁמים תשׁתה־מים׃
Dev 11:12 ארץ אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך דרשׁ אתה תמיד עיני יהוה אלהיך בה מרשׁית השׁנה ועד אחרית שׁנה׃
Dev 11:13 והיה אם־שׁמע תשׁמעו אל־מצותי אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום לאהבה את־יהוה אלהיכם ולעבדו בכל־לבבכם ובכל־נפשׁכם׃
Dev 11:14 ונתתי מטר־ארצכם בעתו יורה ומלקושׁ ואספת דגנך ותירשׁך ויצהרך׃
Dev 11:15 ונתתי עשׂב בשׂדך לבהמתך ואכלת ושׂבעת׃
Dev 11:16 השׁמרו לכם פן יפתה לבבכם וסרתם ועבדתם אלהים אחרים והשׁתחויתם להם׃
Dev 11:17 וחרה אף־יהוה בכם ועצר את־השׁמים ולא־יהיה מטר והאדמה לא תתן את־יבולה ואבדתם מהרה מעל הארץ הטבה אשׁר יהוה נתן לכם׃
Dev 11:18 ושׂמתם את־דברי אלה על־לבבכם ועל־נפשׁכם וקשׁרתם אתם לאות על־ידכם והיו לטוטפת בין עיניכם׃
Dev 11:19 ולמדתם אתם את־בניכם לדבר בם בשׁבתך בביתך ובלכתך בדרך ובשׁכבך ובקומך׃
Dev 11:20 וכתבתם על־מזוזות ביתך ובשׁעריך׃
Dev 11:21 למען ירבו ימיכם וימי בניכם על האדמה אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיכם לתת להם כימי השׁמים על־הארץ׃
Dev 11:22 כי אם־שׁמר תשׁמרון את־כל־המצוה הזאת אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם לעשׂתה לאהבה את־יהוה אלהיכם ללכת בכל־דרכיו ולדבקה־בו׃
Dev 11:23 והורישׁ יהוה את־כל־הגוים האלה מלפניכם וירשׁתם גוים גדלים ועצמים מכם׃
Dev 11:24 כל־המקום אשׁר תדרך כף־רגלכם בו לכם יהיה מן־המדבר והלבנון מן־הנהר נהר־פרת ועד הים האחרון יהיה גבלכם׃
Dev 11:25 לא־יתיצב אישׁ בפניכם פחדכם ומוראכם יתן יהוה אלהיכם על־פני כל־הארץ אשׁר תדרכו־בה כאשׁר דבר לכם׃
Dev 7:13 ואהבך וברכך והרבך וברך פרי־בטנך ופרי־אדמתך דגנך ותירשׁך ויצהרך שׁגר־אלפיך ועשׁתרת צאנך על האדמה אשׁר־נשׁבע לאבתיך לתת לך׃
Dev 7:14 ברוך תהיה מכל־העמים לא־יהיה בך עקר ועקרה ובבהמתך׃
Dev 7:15 והסיר יהוה ממך כל־חלי וכל־מדוי מצרים הרעים אשׁר ידעת לא ישׂימם בך ונתנם בכל־שׂנאיך׃
Dev 7:16 ואכלת את־כל־העמים אשׁר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא־תחוס עינך עליהם ולא תעבד את־אלהיהם כי־מוקשׁ הוא לך׃
Dev 7:17 כי תאמר בלבבך רבים הגוים האלה ממני איכה אוכל להורישׁם׃

Dev 9:1 שׁמע ישׂראל אתה עבר היום את־הירדן לבא לרשׁת גוים גדלים ועצמים ממך ערים גדלת ובצרת בשׁמים׃
Dev 9:2 עם־גדול ורם בני ענקים אשׁר אתה ידעת ואתה שׁמעת מי יתיצב לפני בני ענק׃
Dev 9:3 וידעת היום כי יהוה אלהיך הוא־העבר לפניך אשׁ אכלה הוא ישׁמידם והוא יכניעם לפניך והורשׁתם והאבדתם מהר כאשׁר דבר יהוה לך׃
Dev 9:4 אל־תאמר בלבבך בהדף יהוה אלהיך אתם מלפניך לאמר בצדקתי הביאני יהוה לרשׁת את־הארץ הזאת וברשׁעת הגוים האלה יהוה מורישׁם מפניך׃
Dev 9:5 לא בצדקתך ובישׁר לבבך אתה בא לרשׁת את־ארצם כי ברשׁעת הגוים האלה יהוה אלהיך מורישׁם מפניך ולמען הקים את־הדבר אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב׃
Dev 9:6 וידעת כי לא בצדקתך יהוה אלהיך נתן לך את־הארץ הטובה הזאת לרשׁתה כי עם־קשׁה־ערף אתה׃
Dev 9:7 זכר אל־תשׁכח את אשׁר־הקצפת את־יהוה אלהיך במדבר למן־היום אשׁר־יצאת מארץ מצרים עד־באכם עד־המקום הזה ממרים הייתם עם־יהוה׃
Dev 9:8 ובחרב הקצפתם את־יהוה ויתאנף יהוה בכם להשׁמיד אתכם׃
Dev 9:9 בעלתי ההרה לקחת לוחת האבנים לוחת הברית אשׁר־כרת יהוה עמכם ואשׁב בהר ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה לחם לא אכלתי ומים לא שׁתיתי׃
Dev 9:10 ויתן יהוה אלי את־שׁני לוחת האבנים כתבים באצבע אלהים ועליהם ככל־הדברים אשׁר דבר יהוה עמכם בהר מתוך האשׁ ביום הקהל׃
Dev 9:11 ויהי מקץ ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה נתן יהוה אלי את־שׁני לחת האבנים לחות הברית׃
Dev 9:12 ויאמר יהוה אלי קום רד מהר מזה כי שׁחת עמך אשׁר הוצאת ממצרים סרו מהר מן־הדרך אשׁר צויתם עשׂו להם מסכה׃
Dev 9:13 ויאמר יהוה אלי לאמר ראיתי את־העם הזה והנה עם־קשׁה־ערף הוא׃
Dev 9:14 הרף ממני ואשׁמידם ואמחה את־שׁמם מתחת השׁמים ואעשׂה אותך לגוי־עצום ורב ממנו׃
Dev 9:15 ואפן וארד מן־ההר וההר בער באשׁ ושׁני לוחת הברית על שׁתי ידי׃
Dev 9:16 וארא והנה חטאתם ליהוה אלהיכם עשׂיתם לכם עגל מסכה סרתם מהר מן־הדרך אשׁר־צוה יהוה אתכם׃
Dev 9:17 ואתפשׂ בשׁני הלחת ואשׁלכם מעל שׁתי ידי ואשׁברם לעיניכם׃
Dev 9:18 ואתנפל לפני יהוה כראשׁנה ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה לחם לא אכלתי ומים לא שׁתיתי על כל־חטאתכם אשׁר חטאתם לעשׂות הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיסו׃
Dev 9:19 כי יגרתי מפני האף והחמה אשׁר קצף יהוה עליכם להשׁמיד אתכם וישׁמע יהוה אלי גם בפעם ההוא׃
Dev 9:20 ובאהרן התאנף יהוה מאד להשׁמידו ואתפלל גם־בעד אהרן בעת ההוא׃
Dev 9:21 ואת־חטאתכם אשׁר־עשׂיתם את־העגל לקחתי ואשׂרף אתו באשׁ ואכת אתו טחון היטב עד אשׁר־דק לעפר ואשׁלך את־עפרו אל־הנחל הירד מן־ההר׃
Dev 9:22 ובתבערה ובמסה ובקברת התאוה מקצפים הייתם את־יהוה׃
Dev 9:23 ובשׁלח יהוה אתכם מקדשׁ ברנע לאמר עלו ורשׁו את־הארץ אשׁר נתתי לכם ותמרו את־פי יהוה אלהיכם ולא האמנתם לו ולא שׁמעתם בקלו׃
Dev 9:24 ממרים הייתם עם־יהוה מיום דעתי אתכם׃
Dev 9:25 ואתנפל לפני יהוה את ארבעים היום ואת־ארבעים הלילה אשׁר התנפלתי כי־אמר יהוה להשׁמיד אתכם׃
Dev 9:26 ואתפלל אל־יהוה ואמר אדני יהוה אל־תשׁחת עמך ונחלתך אשׁר פדית בגדלך אשׁר־הוצאת ממצרים ביד חזקה׃
Dev 9:27 זכר לעבדיך לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב אל־תפן אל־קשׁי העם הזה ואל־רשׁעו ואל־חטאתו׃
Dev 9:28 פן־יאמרו הארץ אשׁר הוצאתנו משׁם מבלי יכלת יהוה להביאם אל־הארץ אשׁר־דבר להם ומשׂנאתו אותם הוציאם להמתם במדבר׃
Dev 9:29 והם עמך ונחלתך אשׁר הוצאת בכחך הגדל ובזרעך הנטויה׃
Dev 10:1 בעת ההוא אמר יהוה אלי פסל־לך שׁני־לוחת אבנים כראשׁנים ועלה אלי ההרה ועשׂית לך ארון עץ׃
Dev 10:2 ואכתב על־הלחת את־הדברים אשׁר היו על־הלחת הראשׁנים אשׁר שׁברת ושׂמתם בארון׃
Dev 10:3 ואעשׂ ארון עצי שׁטים ואפסל שׁני־לחת אבנים כראשׁנים ואעל ההרה ושׁני הלחת בידי׃
Dev 10:4 ויכתב על־הלחת כמכתב הראשׁון את עשׂרת הדברים אשׁר דבר יהוה אליכם בהר מתוך האשׁ ביום הקהל ויתנם יהוה אלי׃
Dev 10:5 ואפן וארד מן־ההר ואשׂם את־הלחת בארון אשׁר עשׂיתי ויהיו שׁם כאשׁר צוני יהוה׃
Dev 10:6 ובני ישׂראל נסעו מבארת בני־יעקן מוסרה שׁם מת אהרן ויקבר שׁם ויכהן אלעזר בנו תחתיו׃
Dev 10:7 משׁם נסעו הגדגדה ומן־הגדגדה יטבתה ארץ נחלי מים׃
Dev 10:8 בעת ההוא הבדיל יהוה את־שׁבט הלוי לשׂאת את־ארון ברית־יהוה לעמד לפני יהוה לשׁרתו ולברך בשׁמו עד היום הזה׃
Dev 10:9 על־כן לא־היה ללוי חלק ונחלה עם־אחיו יהוה הוא נחלתו כאשׁר דבר יהוה אלהיך לו׃
Dev 10:10 ואנכי עמדתי בהר כימים הראשׁנים ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה וישׁמע יהוה אלי גם בפעם ההוא לא־אבה יהוה השׁחיתך׃
Dev 10:11 ויאמר יהוה אלי קום לך למסע לפני העם ויבאו ויירשׁו את־הארץ אשׁר־נשׁבעתי לאבתם לתת להם׃
Dev 10:12 ועתה ישׂראל מה יהוה אלהיך שׁאל מעמך כי אם־ליראה את־יהוה אלהיך ללכת בכל־דרכיו ולאהבה אתו ולעבד את־יהוה אלהיך בכל־לבבך ובכל־נפשׁך׃
Dev 10:13 לשׁמר את־מצות יהוה ואת־חקתיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לטוב לך׃
Dev 10:14 הן ליהוה אלהיך השׁמים ושׁמי השׁמים הארץ וכל־אשׁר־בה׃
Dev 10:15 רק באבתיך חשׁק יהוה לאהבה אותם ויבחר בזרעם אחריהם בכם מכל־העמים כיום הזה׃
Dev 10:16 ומלתם את ערלת לבבכם וערפכם לא תקשׁו עוד׃
Dev 10:17 כי יהוה אלהיכם הוא אלהי האלהים ואדני האדנים האל הגדל הגבר והנורא אשׁר לא־ישׂא פנים ולא יקח שׁחד׃
Dev 10:18 עשׂה משׁפט יתום ואלמנה ואהב גר לתת לו לחם ושׂמלה׃
Dev 10:19 ואהבתם את־הגר כי־גרים הייתם בארץ מצרים׃
Dev 10:20 את־יהוה אלהיך תירא אתו תעבד ובו תדבק ובשׁמו תשׁבע׃
Dev 10:21 הוא תהלתך והוא אלהיך אשׁר־עשׂה אתך את־הגדלת ואת־הנוראת האלה אשׁר ראו עיניך׃
Dev 10:22 בשׁבעים נפשׁ ירדו אבתיך מצרימה ועתה שׂמך יהוה אלהיך ככוכבי השׁמים לרב׃
Dev 11:1 ואהבת את יהוה אלהיך ושׁמרת משׁמרתו וחקתיו ומשׁפטיו ומצותיו כל־הימים׃
Dev 11:2 וידעתם היום כי לא את־בניכם אשׁר לא־ידעו ואשׁר לא־ראו את־מוסר יהוה אלהיכם את־גדלו את־ידו החזקה וזרעו הנטויה׃
Dev 11:3 ואת־אתתיו ואת־מעשׂיו אשׁר עשׂה בתוך מצרים לפרעה מלך־מצרים ולכל־ארצו׃
Dev 11:4 ואשׁר עשׂה לחיל מצרים לסוסיו ולרכבו אשׁר הציף את־מי ים־סוף על־פניהם ברדפם אחריכם ויאבדם יהוה עד היום הזה׃
Dev 11:5 ואשׁר עשׂה לכם במדבר עד־באכם עד־המקום הזה׃
Dev 11:6 ואשׁר עשׂה לדתן ולאבירם בני אליאב בן־ראובן אשׁר פצתה הארץ את־פיה ותבלעם ואת־בתיהם ואת־אהליהם ואת כל־היקום אשׁר ברגליהם בקרב כל־ישׂראל׃
Dev 11:7 כי עיניכם הראת את־כל־מעשׂה יהוה הגדל אשׁר עשׂה׃
Dev 11:8 ושׁמרתם את־כל־המצוה אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום למען תחזקו ובאתם וירשׁתם את־הארץ אשׁר אתם עברים שׁמה לרשׁתה׃
Dev 11:9 ולמען תאריכו ימים על־האדמה אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיכם לתת להם ולזרעם ארץ זבת חלב ודבשׁ׃
Dev 11:10 כי הארץ אשׁר אתה בא־שׁמה לרשׁתה לא כארץ מצרים הוא אשׁר יצאתם משׁם אשׁר תזרע את־זרעך והשׁקית ברגלך כגן הירק׃
Dev 11:11 והארץ אשׁר אתם עברים שׁמה לרשׁתה ארץ הרים ובקעת למטר השׁמים תשׁתה־מים׃
Dev 11:12 ארץ אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך דרשׁ אתה תמיד עיני יהוה אלהיך בה מרשׁית השׁנה ועד אחרית שׁנה׃
Dev 11:13 והיה אם־שׁמע תשׁמעו אל־מצותי אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום לאהבה את־יהוה אלהיכם ולעבדו בכל־לבבכם ובכל־נפשׁכם׃
Dev 11:14 ונתתי מטר־ארצכם בעתו יורה ומלקושׁ ואספת דגנך ותירשׁך ויצהרך׃
Dev 11:15 ונתתי עשׂב בשׂדך לבהמתך ואכלת ושׂבעת׃
Dev 11:16 השׁמרו לכם פן יפתה לבבכם וסרתם ועבדתם אלהים אחרים והשׁתחויתם להם׃
Dev 11:17 וחרה אף־יהוה בכם ועצר את־השׁמים ולא־יהיה מטר והאדמה לא תתן את־יבולה ואבדתם מהרה מעל הארץ הטבה אשׁר יהוה נתן לכם׃
Dev 11:18 ושׂמתם את־דברי אלה על־לבבכם ועל־נפשׁכם וקשׁרתם אתם לאות על־ידכם והיו לטוטפת בין עיניכם׃
Dev 11:19 ולמדתם אתם את־בניכם לדבר בם בשׁבתך בביתך ובלכתך בדרך ובשׁכבך ובקומך׃
Dev 11:20 וכתבתם על־מזוזות ביתך ובשׁעריך׃
Dev 11:21 למען ירבו ימיכם וימי בניכם על האדמה אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתיכם לתת להם כימי השׁמים על־הארץ׃
Dev 11:22 כי אם־שׁמר תשׁמרון את־כל־המצוה הזאת אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם לעשׂתה לאהבה את־יהוה אלהיכם ללכת בכל־דרכיו ולדבקה־בו׃
Dev 11:23 והורישׁ יהוה את־כל־הגוים האלה מלפניכם וירשׁתם גוים גדלים ועצמים מכם׃
Dev 11:24 כל־המקום אשׁר תדרך כף־רגלכם בו לכם יהיה מן־המדבר והלבנון מן־הנהר נהר־פרת ועד הים האחרון יהיה גבלכם׃
Dev 11:25 לא־יתיצב אישׁ בפניכם פחדכם ומוראכם יתן יהוה אלהיכם על־פני כל־הארץ אשׁר תדרכו־בה כאשׁר דבר לכם׃

Dev 7:12 “And it shall be, because you hear these right-rulings, and shall guard and do them, that יהוה your Elohim shall guard with you the covenant and the kindness which He swore to your fathers,
Dev 7:13 and shall love you and bless you and increase you, and shall bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.
Dev 7:14 “Blessed are you above all peoples – there is not going to be a barren man or a barren woman among you or among your livestock.
Dev 7:15 “And יהוה shall turn away from you all sickness and put on you none of the evil diseases of Mitsrayim which you have known, but He shall put them on all those who hate you.
Dev 7:16 “And you shall consume all the peoples whom יהוה your Elohim is delivering over to you – your eye shall not pardon them. And do not serve their mighty ones, for that is a snare to you.
Dev 7:17 “When you say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I, I am unable to drive them out,’
Dev 7:18 do not be afraid of them. Remember well what יהוה your Elohim did to Pharaoh and to all Mitsrayim,
Dev 7:19 the great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders, the strong hand and the outstretched arm, by which יהוה your Elohim brought you out. יהוה your Elohim does so to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.
Dev 7:20 “And יהוה your Elohim also sends the hornet among them until those who are left, who hide themselves from you, are destroyed.
Dev 7:21 “Do not be afraid of them, for יהוה your Elohim, the great and awesome Ěl, is in your midst.
Dev 7:22 “And יהוה your Elohim shall drive out those nations before you, little by little. You are not allowed to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you.
Dev 7:23 “But יהוה your Elohim shall deliver them over to you and destroy them with a great destruction until they are consumed.
Dev 7:24 “And He shall give their sovereigns into your hand, and you shall destroy their name from under the heavens. No one is going to be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.
Dev 7:25 “The carved images of their mighty ones you are to burn with fire. Do not covet the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared by it, for it is an abomination to יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 7:26 “And do not bring an abomination into your house, lest you be accursed like it. Utterly loathe it and utterly hate it, for it is accursed.
Dev 8:1 “Guard to do every mitzvah which I command you today, that you might live, and shall increase, and go in, and shall possess the land of which יהוה swore to your fathers.
Dev 8:2 “And you shall remember that יהוה your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you guard His mitzvot or not.
Dev 8:3 “And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of יהוה1. Footnote: 1Messiah quotes this in Mt. 4:4 and in Lk. 4:4.
Dev 8:4 “Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.
Dev 8:5 “Thus you shall know in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so יהוה your Elohim disciplines you,
Dev 8:6 therefore you shall guard the mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
Dev 8:7 “For יהוה your Elohim is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills,
Dev 8:8 a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey,
Dev 8:9 a land in which you eat bread without scarcity, in which you do not lack at all, a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you dig copper.
Dev 8:10 “And you shall eat and be satisfied, and shall bless יהוה your Elohim for the good land which He has given you.
Dev 8:11 “Be on guard, lest you forget יהוה your Elohim by not guarding His mitzvot, and His right-rulings, and His laws which I command you today,
Dev 8:12 lest you eat and shall be satisfied, and build lovely houses and shall dwell in them,
Dev 8:13 and your herds and your flocks increase, and your silver and your gold are increased, and all that you have is increased,
Dev 8:14 that your heart then becomes lifted up, and you forget יהוה your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage,
Dev 8:15 who led you through that great and awesome wilderness – fiery serpents and scorpions and thirst – where there was no water, who brought water for you out of the flinty rock,
Dev 8:16 who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, in order to humble you and to try you, to do you good in the end,
Dev 8:17 you then shall say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand have made for me this wealth!’
Dev 8:18 “But you shall remember יהוה your Elohim, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today.
Dev 8:19 “And it shall be, if you by any means forget יהוה your Elohim, and follow other mighty ones, and serve them and bow yourself to them, I have warned you this day that you shall certainly perish.
Dev 8:20 “Like the nations which יהוה is destroying before you, so you are to perish, because you did not obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 9:1 “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: You are passing over the Yardĕn today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and stronger than yourself, cities great and walled up to the heavens,
Dev 9:2 a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anaqim, whom you know, and of whom you heard it said, ‘Who does stand before the descendants of Anaq?’
Dev 9:3 “And you shall know today that יהוה your Elohim is He who is passing over before you as a consuming fire – He does destroy them and subdue them before you. So you shall dispossess them and destroy them quickly, as יהוה has said to you.
Dev 9:4 “Do not think in your heart, after יהוה your Elohim has driven them out before you, saying, ‘Because of my righteousness יהוה has brought me in to possess this land.’ But it is because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה is driving them out from before you.
Dev 9:5 “It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה your Elohim drives them out from before you, in order to establish the word which יהוה swore to your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov.
Dev 9:6 “And you shall know that יהוה your Elohim is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.
Dev 9:7 “Remember, do not forget how you provoked to wrath יהוה your Elohim in the wilderness. From the day that you came out of the land of Mitsrayim until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against יהוה.
Dev 9:8 “Even in Ḥorĕḇ you made יהוה wroth, so that יהוה was enraged with you, to destroy you.
Dev 9:9 “When I went up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which יהוה made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread nor did I drink water.
Dev 9:10 “Then יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of Elohim, and on them were all the Words which יהוה had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
Dev 9:11 “And it came to be, at the end of forty days and forty nights, that יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.
Dev 9:12 “Then יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you brought out of Mitsrayim have acted corruptly. They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them, they have made themselves a metal image.’
Dev 9:13 “And יהוה spoke to me, saying, ‘I have seen this people, and look, they are a stiff-necked people.
Dev 9:14 ‘Leave Me alone, so that I destroy them and blot out their name from under the heavens, and make of you a nation stronger and greater than they.’
Dev 9:15 “So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.
Dev 9:16 “And I looked and saw that you had sinned against יהוה your Elohim, and had made for yourselves a metal calf! You had quickly turned aside from the way which יהוה had commanded you.
Dev 9:17 “And I took the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes,
Dev 9:18 “and I fell down before יהוה, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread and I did not drink water, because of all your sins which you committed in doing evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him.
Dev 9:19 “For I was afraid of the displeasure and rage with which יהוה was wroth with you, to destroy you. But יהוה listened to me that time once more.
Dev 9:20 “And יהוה was very enraged with Aharon, to destroy him, so I prayed for Aharon at that time also.
Dev 9:21 “And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it and ground it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw its dust into the stream that came down from the mountain.
Dev 9:22 “And at Taḇʽĕrah and at Massah and at Qiḇroth Hatta’awah you made יהוה wroth.
Dev 9:23 “And when יהוה sent you from Qaḏĕsh Barnĕa, saying, ‘Go up and possess the land which I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the mouth of יהוה your Elohim, and you neither trusted Him nor listened to His voice.
Dev 9:24 “You have been rebellious against יהוה from the day that I knew you.
Dev 9:25 “So I fell down before יהוה the forty days and forty nights, for I fell down because יהוה had said He would destroy you.
Dev 9:26 “And I prayed to יהוה, and said, ‘O Master יהוה, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance whom You have redeemed in Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand.
Dev 9:27 ‘Remember Your servants, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov. Do not look on the stubbornness of this people, or on their wrong or on their sin,
Dev 9:28 lest the land from which You brought us should say, “Because יהוה was not able to bring them to the land which He promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.”
Dev 9:29 ‘And they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm.’
Dev 10:1 “At that time יהוה said to me, ‘Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain. And you shall make yourself an ark of wood,
Dev 10:2 then I write on the tablets the Words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. And you shall put them in the ark.’
Dev 10:3 “So I made an ark of acacia wood, hewed two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain, with the two tablets in my hand.
Dev 10:4 “And He wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Words, which יהוה had spoken to you in the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. Then יהוה gave them to me,
Dev 10:5 and I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made. And they are there, as יהוה commanded me.”
Dev 10:6 Now the children of Yisra’ĕl set out from the wells of Benĕi Yaʽaqan to Mosĕrah. Aharon died there, and he was buried there. And El`azar his son became kohen in his place.
Dev 10:7 From there they set out to Guḏgoḏah, and from Guḏgoḏah to Yotḇathah, a land of rivers of water.
Dev 10:8 At that time יהוה separated the tribe of Lĕwi to bear the ark of the covenant of יהוה, to stand before יהוה, to serve Him, and to bless in His Name, to this day.
Dev 10:9 Therefore Lĕwi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers. יהוה is his inheritance, as יהוה your Elohim promised him.
Dev 10:10 “And I stayed in the mountain for forty days and forty nights. And יהוה heard me at that time also, and יהוה chose not to destroy you.
Dev 10:11 “And יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go before the people, to set out, and let them go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.’
Dev 10:12 “And now, Yisra’ĕl, what is יהוה your Elohim asking of you, but to fear יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being,
Dev 10:13 to guard the commands of יהוה and His laws which I command you today for your good?
Dev 10:14 “See, the heavens and the heaven of heavens belong to יהוה your Elohim, also the earth with all that is in it.

Dev 10:16 “And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neck no more.
Dev 10:17 “For יהוה your Elohim is Elohim of mighty ones and Master of masters, the great Ěl, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe.
Dev 10:18 “He executes right-ruling for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and a garment.
Dev 10:19 “And you shall love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim.
Dev 10:20 “Fear יהוה your Elohim. Serve Him, and cling to Him, and swear by His Name.
Dev 10:21 “He is your praise, and He is your Elohim, who has done for you these great and awesome deeds which your eyes have seen.
Dev 10:22 “Your fathers went down to Mitsrayim with seventy beings, and now יהוה your Elohim has made you as numerous as the stars of the heavens.
Dev 11:1 “And you shall love יהוה your Elohim and guard His Charge1: even His laws, and His right-rulings, and His mitzvot, always. Footnote: 1See Gen. 26:5.
Dev 11:2 “And you shall know today – for it is not your children who have not known and who have not seen the discipline of יהוה your Elohim, His greatness, His strong hand and His outstretched arm,
Dev 11:3 and His signs, and His works which He had done in the midst of Mitsrayim, to Pharaoh sovereign of Mitsrayim, and to all his land;
Dev 11:4 and that which He had done to the army of Mitsrayim, to their horses and their chariots, when He made the waters of the Yam Suf overflow them as they pursued you, and how יהוה has destroyed them to this day;
Dev 11:5 and what He had done for you in the wilderness till you came to this place;
Dev 11:6 and what He had done to Dathan and Aḇiram the sons of Eliyaḇ, son of Re’uḇĕn, when the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the living creatures that were in their possession, in the midst of all Yisra’ĕl.
Dev 11:7 “For yours are the eyes that saw all the great work of יהוה, which He did.
Dev 11:8 “And you shall guard every mitzvah which I command you today, so that you are strong, and shall go in, and shall possess the land which you are passing over to possess,
Dev 11:9 and to prolong your days in the land which יהוה swore to give your fathers, to them and their descendants, a land flowing with milk and honey.
Dev 11:10 “For the land which you are going in to possess is not like the land of Mitsrayim from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden,
Dev 11:11 but the land which you are passing over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of the heavens,
Dev 11:12 a land which יהוה your Elohim looks after. The eyes of יהוה your Elohim are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the latter end of the year.
Dev 11:13 ‘And it shall be that if you diligently obey My mitzvot which I command you today, to love יהוה your Elohim and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your being,
Dev 11:14 then I shall give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, and you shall gather in your grain, and your new wine, and your oil.
Dev 11:15 ‘And I shall give grass in your fields for your livestock, and you shall eat and be satisfied.
Dev 11:16 ‘Guard yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and you turn aside and serve other mighty ones and bow down to them.
Dev 11:17 ‘Then the displeasure of יהוה shall burn against you, and He shall shut up the heavens, and there be no rain, and the land not give its increase. And you shall perish quickly from the good land which יהוה is giving you.
Dev 11:18 ‘And you shall lay up these Words1 of Mine in your heart and in your being, and shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. Footnote: 1See footnote at 5:22.
Dev 11:19 ‘And you shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up,
Dev 11:20 and shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates,
Dev 11:21 so that your days and the days of your children are increased on the soil of which יהוה swore to your fathers to give them, as the days of the heavens on the earth.
Dev 11:22 ‘For if you diligently guard all these mitzvot which I command you, to do it, to love יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways, and to cling to Him,
Dev 11:23 then יהוה shall drive out all these nations before you, and you shall dispossess greater and stronger nations than you.
Dev 11:24 ‘Every place on which the sole of your foot treads is yours: from the wilderness, and Leḇanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea is your border.
Dev 11:25 ‘No man shall stand against you. יהוה your Elohim shall put the dread of you and the fear of you upon all the land where you tread, as He has spoken to you.
Dev 7:13 and shall love you and bless you and increase you, and shall bless the fruit of your womb and the fruit of your land, your grain and your new wine and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flock, in the land of which He swore to your fathers to give you.
Dev 7:14 “Blessed are you above all peoples – there is not going to be a barren man or a barren woman among you or among your livestock.
Dev 7:15 “And יהוה shall turn away from you all sickness and put on you none of the evil diseases of Mitsrayim which you have known, but He shall put them on all those who hate you.
Dev 7:16 “And you shall consume all the peoples whom יהוה your Elohim is delivering over to you – your eye shall not pardon them. And do not serve their mighty ones, for that is a snare to you.
Dev 7:17 “When you say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I, I am unable to drive them out,’
Dev 7:18 do not be afraid of them. Remember well what יהוה your Elohim did to Pharaoh and to all Mitsrayim,
Dev 7:19 the great trials which your eyes saw, and the signs and the wonders, the strong hand and the outstretched arm, by which יהוה your Elohim brought you out. יהוה your Elohim does so to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.
Dev 7:20 “And יהוה your Elohim also sends the hornet among them until those who are left, who hide themselves from you, are destroyed.
Dev 7:21 “Do not be afraid of them, for יהוה your Elohim, the great and awesome Ěl, is in your midst.
Dev 7:22 “And יהוה your Elohim shall drive out those nations before you, little by little. You are not allowed to destroy them at once, lest the beasts of the field become too numerous for you.
Dev 7:23 “But יהוה your Elohim shall deliver them over to you and destroy them with a great destruction until they are consumed.
Dev 7:24 “And He shall give their sovereigns into your hand, and you shall destroy their name from under the heavens. No one is going to be able to stand against you until you have destroyed them.
Dev 7:25 “The carved images of their mighty ones you are to burn with fire. Do not covet the silver or gold that is on them, nor take it for yourselves, lest you be snared by it, for it is an abomination to יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 7:26 “And do not bring an abomination into your house, lest you be accursed like it. Utterly loathe it and utterly hate it, for it is accursed.
Dev 8:1 “Guard to do every mitzvah which I command you today, that you might live, and shall increase, and go in, and shall possess the land of which יהוה swore to your fathers.
Dev 8:2 “And you shall remember that יהוה your Elohim led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you, prove you, to know what is in your heart, whether you guard His mitzvot or not.
Dev 8:3 “And He humbled you, and let you suffer hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, to make you know that man does not live by bread alone, but by every Word that comes from the mouth of יהוה1. Footnote: 1Messiah quotes this in Mt. 4:4 and in Lk. 4:4.
Dev 8:4 “Your garments did not wear out on you, nor did your foot swell these forty years.
Dev 8:5 “Thus you shall know in your heart that as a man disciplines his son, so יהוה your Elohim disciplines you,
Dev 8:6 therefore you shall guard the mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
Dev 8:7 “For יהוה your Elohim is bringing you into a good land, a land of streams of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills,
Dev 8:8 a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey,
Dev 8:9 a land in which you eat bread without scarcity, in which you do not lack at all, a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you dig copper.
Dev 8:10 “And you shall eat and be satisfied, and shall bless יהוה your Elohim for the good land which He has given you.
Dev 8:11 “Be on guard, lest you forget יהוה your Elohim by not guarding His mitzvot, and His right-rulings, and His laws which I command you today,
Dev 8:12 lest you eat and shall be satisfied, and build lovely houses and shall dwell in them,
Dev 8:13 and your herds and your flocks increase, and your silver and your gold are increased, and all that you have is increased,
Dev 8:14 that your heart then becomes lifted up, and you forget יהוה your Elohim who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage,
Dev 8:15 who led you through that great and awesome wilderness – fiery serpents and scorpions and thirst – where there was no water, who brought water for you out of the flinty rock,
Dev 8:16 who fed you in the wilderness with manna, which your fathers did not know, in order to humble you and to try you, to do you good in the end,
Dev 8:17 you then shall say in your heart, ‘My power and the strength of my hand have made for me this wealth!’
Dev 8:18 “But you shall remember יהוה your Elohim, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, in order to establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is today.
Dev 8:19 “And it shall be, if you by any means forget יהוה your Elohim, and follow other mighty ones, and serve them and bow yourself to them, I have warned you this day that you shall certainly perish.
Dev 8:20 “Like the nations which יהוה is destroying before you, so you are to perish, because you did not obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 9:1 “Hear, O Yisra’ĕl: You are passing over the Yardĕn today, to go in to dispossess nations greater and stronger than yourself, cities great and walled up to the heavens,
Dev 9:2 a people great and tall, the descendants of the Anaqim, whom you know, and of whom you heard it said, ‘Who does stand before the descendants of Anaq?’
Dev 9:3 “And you shall know today that יהוה your Elohim is He who is passing over before you as a consuming fire – He does destroy them and subdue them before you. So you shall dispossess them and destroy them quickly, as יהוה has said to you.
Dev 9:4 “Do not think in your heart, after יהוה your Elohim has driven them out before you, saying, ‘Because of my righteousness יהוה has brought me in to possess this land.’ But it is because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה is driving them out from before you.
Dev 9:5 “It is not because of your righteousness or the uprightness of your heart that you go in to possess their land, but because of the wrong of these nations that יהוה your Elohim drives them out from before you, in order to establish the word which יהוה swore to your fathers, to Avraham, to Yitzchak, and to Ya`akov.
Dev 9:6 “And you shall know that יהוה your Elohim is not giving you this good land to possess because of your righteousness, for you are a stiff-necked people.
Dev 9:7 “Remember, do not forget how you provoked to wrath יהוה your Elohim in the wilderness. From the day that you came out of the land of Mitsrayim until you came to this place, you have been rebellious against יהוה.
Dev 9:8 “Even in Ḥorĕḇ you made יהוה wroth, so that יהוה was enraged with you, to destroy you.
Dev 9:9 “When I went up into the mountain to receive the tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant which יהוה made with you, then I stayed on the mountain forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread nor did I drink water.
Dev 9:10 “Then יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone written with the finger of Elohim, and on them were all the Words which יהוה had spoken to you on the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly.
Dev 9:11 “And it came to be, at the end of forty days and forty nights, that יהוה gave me the two tablets of stone, the tablets of the covenant.
Dev 9:12 “Then יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go down quickly from here, for your people whom you brought out of Mitsrayim have acted corruptly. They have quickly turned aside from the way which I commanded them, they have made themselves a metal image.’
Dev 9:13 “And יהוה spoke to me, saying, ‘I have seen this people, and look, they are a stiff-necked people.
Dev 9:14 ‘Leave Me alone, so that I destroy them and blot out their name from under the heavens, and make of you a nation stronger and greater than they.’
Dev 9:15 “So I turned and came down from the mountain, and the mountain burned with fire. And the two tablets of the covenant were in my two hands.
Dev 9:16 “And I looked and saw that you had sinned against יהוה your Elohim, and had made for yourselves a metal calf! You had quickly turned aside from the way which יהוה had commanded you.
Dev 9:17 “And I took the two tablets and threw them out of my two hands and broke them before your eyes,
Dev 9:18 “and I fell down before יהוה, as at the first, forty days and forty nights. I did not eat bread and I did not drink water, because of all your sins which you committed in doing evil in the eyes of יהוה, to provoke Him.
Dev 9:19 “For I was afraid of the displeasure and rage with which יהוה was wroth with you, to destroy you. But יהוה listened to me that time once more.
Dev 9:20 “And יהוה was very enraged with Aharon, to destroy him, so I prayed for Aharon at that time also.
Dev 9:21 “And I took your sin, the calf which you had made, and burned it with fire and crushed it and ground it very small, until it was as fine as dust. And I threw its dust into the stream that came down from the mountain.
Dev 9:22 “And at Taḇʽĕrah and at Massah and at Qiḇroth Hatta’awah you made יהוה wroth.
Dev 9:23 “And when יהוה sent you from Qaḏĕsh Barnĕa, saying, ‘Go up and possess the land which I have given you,’ then you rebelled against the mouth of יהוה your Elohim, and you neither trusted Him nor listened to His voice.
Dev 9:24 “You have been rebellious against יהוה from the day that I knew you.
Dev 9:25 “So I fell down before יהוה the forty days and forty nights, for I fell down because יהוה had said He would destroy you.
Dev 9:26 “And I prayed to יהוה, and said, ‘O Master יהוה, do not destroy Your people and Your inheritance whom You have redeemed in Your greatness, whom You have brought out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand.
Dev 9:27 ‘Remember Your servants, Avraham, Yitzchak, and Ya`akov. Do not look on the stubbornness of this people, or on their wrong or on their sin,
Dev 9:28 lest the land from which You brought us should say, “Because יהוה was not able to bring them to the land which He promised them, and because He hated them, He has brought them out to kill them in the wilderness.”
Dev 9:29 ‘And they are Your people and Your inheritance, whom You brought out by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm.’
Dev 10:1 “At that time יהוה said to me, ‘Hew for yourself two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to Me on the mountain. And you shall make yourself an ark of wood,
Dev 10:2 then I write on the tablets the Words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. And you shall put them in the ark.’
Dev 10:3 “So I made an ark of acacia wood, hewed two tablets of stone like the first, and went up the mountain, with the two tablets in my hand.
Dev 10:4 “And He wrote on the tablets according to the first writing, the Ten Words, which יהוה had spoken to you in the mountain from the midst of the fire in the day of the assembly. Then יהוה gave them to me,
Dev 10:5 and I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark which I had made. And they are there, as יהוה commanded me.”
Dev 10:6 Now the children of Yisra’ĕl set out from the wells of Benĕi Yaʽaqan to Mosĕrah. Aharon died there, and he was buried there. And El`azar his son became kohen in his place.
