Act 8:1 ושאול גם־הוא היה רצה בהרגתו ותהי ביום ההוא רדיפה גדולה על־הקהילה אשר בירושלים ויפצו כלם בערי יהודה ושמרון לבד מן־השליחים׃
Act 8:2 ואנשים יראי אלהים נשאו את־אסטפנוס ויקברהו ויספדו עליו מספד גדול׃
Act 8:3 ושאול החריב את־הקהילה וישוטט בבתים ויסחב משם אנשים ונשים ויסגירם לכלא׃
Act 8:4 והנפוצים עברו בארץ ויבשרו את־הדבר׃
Act 8:5 ופילפוס ירד אל־עיר שמרון ויכרז להם את־המשיח׃
Act 8:6 ויקשב המון העם לב אחד אל־אמרי פילפוס בשמעם ובראותם את־האתות אשר עשה׃
Act 8:7 כי רבים היו אחוזי רוחות הטמאה והרוחות יצאו מהם צעקות צעקה גדולה ורבים נכי אברים ופסחים ונרפאו׃
Act 8:8 ותהי שמחה גדולה בעיר ההיא׃
Act 8:9 ואיש אחד ושמו שמעון היה מלפנים בעיר מכשף ומבהיל את־עם שמרון באמרו על־נפשו כי גדול הוא׃
Act 8:10 וכלם הקשיבו אליו מקטנם ועד־גדולם לאמר זה הוא גבורת האלהים הגדולה׃
Act 8:11 ויקשיבו אליו על־היותו מבהיל אותם בכשפיו ימים רבים׃
Act 8:12 ויהי כאשר האמינו לפילפוס בבשרו את־מלכות האלהים ואת־שם ישוע המשיח ויטבלו אנשים ונשים׃
Act 8:13 ויאמן שמעון גם־הוא ויטבל וידבק בפילפוס וירא את־האתות והמפתים הגדלים אשר נעשו ויתמה׃
Act 8:14 וישמעו השליחים אשר בירושלים כי־קבלה שמרון את־דבר האלהים וישלחו אליהם את־פטרוס ואת־יוחנן׃
Act 8:15 וירדו שמה ויתפללו בעדם אשר יקבלו את־רוח הקדש׃
Act 8:16 כי הרוח לא־צלחה עד־עתה על־אחד מהם והם רק־נטבלים לשם האדון ישוע׃
Act 8:17 ויסמכו את־ידיהם עליהם ויקבלו את־רוח הקדש׃
Act 8:18 ויהי בראות שמעון כי נתן רוח הקדש בסמיכת ידי השליחים ויבא לפניהם כסף׃
Act 8:19 ויאמר תנו־נא גם־לי שלטן כשלטן הזה אשר יקבל את־רוח הקדש כל אשר־אשים עליו את־ידי׃
Act 8:20 ויאמר אליו פטרוס כספך יהי אתך לאבדון יען אשר אמרת לקנות במחיר את־מתת האלהים׃
Act 8:21 אין־לך חלק וגורל בדבר הזה כי לבבך איננו ישר לפני האלהים׃
Act 8:22 ועתה שוב מרעתך זאת והתחנן אל־האלהים אולי תסלח לך מזמת לבבך׃
Act 8:23 כי־ראה אנכי כי־באת בידי מרורת רוש וחרצבות רשע׃
Act 8:24 ויען שמעון ויאמר העתירו אתם בעדי אל־יהוה לבלתי־בוא עלי דבר מכל אשר אמרתם׃
Act 8:25 והמה העידו ודברו את־דבר יהוה וישובו ירושלים ויבשרו את־הבשורה בכפרים רבים אשר לשמרונים׃
Act 8:26 וידבר מלאך־יהוה אל־פילפוס לאמר קום לך הנגבה על־הדרך הירדת מירושלים עזתה והיא חרבה׃
Act 8:27 ויקם וילך והנה איש כושי סריס ושליט לקנדק מלכת־כוש וממנה על־כל־גנזיה אשר עלה אל־ירושלים להשתחות׃
Act 8:28 ויהי בשובו והוא ישב על־מרכבתו וקרא בספר ישעיה הנביא׃
Act 8:29 ויאמר הרוח אל־פילפוס גשה והלוה על־המרכבה הזאת׃
Act 8:30 וירץ פילפוס אליה וישמע אתו קרא בספר ישעיה הנביא ויאמר הגם תבין את־אשר אתה קורא׃
Act 8:31 ויאמר ואיככה אוכל ואין איש אשר יורני ויבקש מאת פילפוס לעלות ולשבת אצלו׃
Act 8:32 וזה ענין הכתוב אשר קרא כשה לטבח יובל וכרחל לפני גוזזיה נאלמה ולא־יפתח פיו׃
Act 8:33 בעצר משפטו לקח ואת־דורו מי ישוחח כי נגזרו מארץ חייו׃
Act 8:34 ויען הסריס ויאמר אל־פילפוס אשאלה ממך על־מי הנביא מדבר את־זאת על־נפשו או על־איש אחר׃
Act 8:35 ויפתח פילפוס את־פיו ויחל מן־הכתוב הזה ויבשר אותו את־ישוע׃
Act 8:36 ויהי בעברם בדרך ויבאו אל־מקום מים ויאמר הסריס הנה־מים מה־ימנעני מהטבל׃
Act 8:37 (ויאמר פילפוס אם־מאמין אתה בכל־לבבך מתר־לך ויען ויאמר אני מאמין כי ישוע המשיח בן־האלהים הוא)׃
Act 8:38 ויצו להעמיד את־המרכבה וירדו שניהם אל־תוך המים פילפוס והסריס ויטבל אותו׃
Act 8:39 ויהי כי עלו מן־המים וישא רוח יהוה את־פילפוס והסריס לא ראהו עוד וילך לדרכו שמח׃
Act 8:40 ופילפוס נמצא באשדוד ויעבר ויבשר בכל־הערים עד־באו לקיסריה׃
Act 9:1 ושאול עודנו יפח זעם ורצח על־תלמידי האדון ויבא אל־הכהן הגדול׃
Act 9:2 וישאל מאתו מכתבים לדמשק אל־בתי כנסיות למען אשר יאסר את־אשר ימצא אחזים בדרך ההיא אנשים או נשים ויביאם ירושלים׃
Act 9:3 ויהי הוא הלך וקרב לדמשק והנה פתאם נגה עליו מסביב אור מן־השמים׃
Act 9:4 ויפל ארצה וישמע קול מדבר אליו שאול שאול למה תרדפני׃
Act 9:5 ויאמר מי אתה אדני ויאמר האדון אנכי ישוע אשר אתה רודף (קשה לך לבעט בדרבנות׃
Act 9:6 והוא חרד ונבעת ויאמר אדני מה־תחפץ ואעשה ויען האדון) קום לך העירה ויאמר לך את־אשר עליך לעשות׃
Act 9:7 והאנשים אשר הלכו אתו עמדו נאלמים כי שמעו את־הקול ואיש לא הביטו׃
Act 9:8 ויקם שאול מן־הארץ ובפתחו את־עיניו לא ראה איש ויחזיקו בידו ויוליכהו לדמשק׃
Act 9:9 ותחשכנה עיניו מראות שלשת ימים ולא אכל ולא שתה׃
Act 9:10 ותלמיד אחד היה בדמשק חנניה שמו ויאמר אליו האדון במחזה חנניה ויאמר הנני אדני׃
Act 9:11 ויאמר אליו האדון קום לך אל־הרחוב הנקרא הישר ושאל בבית יהודה לאיש טרסי ושמו שאול כי הנה־הוא מתפלל׃
Act 9:12 וירא במחזה והנה־איש ושמו חנניה בא החדרה וישם עליו את־ידו למען ישוב ויראה׃
Act 9:13 ויען חנניה ויאמר אדני שמעתי רבים מספרים על־האיש הזה כמה רעות עשה לקדושיך בירושלים׃
Act 9:14 וגם־פה רשות יש־לו מאת ראשי הכהנים לאסר את־כל־הקראים בשמך׃
Act 9:15 ויאמר אליו האדון לך כי־כלי חפץ הוא לי לשאת את־שמי לפני גוים ומלכים ולפני בני ישראל׃
Act 9:16 כי אני אראהו כמה יש־לו לסבל למען שמי׃
Act 9:17 וילך חנניה ויבא הביתה וישם את־ידיו עליו ויאמר שאול אחי האדון ישוע הנראה אליך בדרך אשר־באת בה שלחני למען תפקחנה עיניך ותמלא רוח הקדש׃
Act 9:18 וכרגע נפלו מעל עיניו כמו קשקשים ותפקחנה פתאם ויקם ויטבל׃
Act 9:19 ויאכל לחם ויחזק וישב שאול ימים אחדים עם־התלמידים אשר בדמשק׃
Act 9:20 וימהר ויקרא בבתי כנסיות את־ישוע לאמר כי־הוא בן־האלהים הוא׃
Act 9:21 ויתמהו כל־השמעים ויאמרו הלא זה הוא אשר האביד בירושלים את־קראי השם הזה ולמען זאת בא הנה להביאם אסורים לפני ראשי הכהנים׃
Act 9:22 ושאול היה הולך וחזק ויהם את־היהודים ישבי דמשק בהוכיחו כי־זה הוא המשיח׃
Act 9:23 ויהי כי־ארכו־לו שם הימים ויועצו היהודים יחדו להמיתו׃
Act 9:24 ויודע לשאול ארבם והמה שמרו את־השערים יומם ולילה להמיתו׃
Act 9:25 ויקחו אתו התלמידים לילה ויורידהו בסל בעד החומה׃
Act 9:26 ויהי כבוא שאול ירושלימה ויבקש להלות אל־התלמידים וייראו כלם מפניו ולא האמינו כי־תלמיד הוא׃
Act 9:27 ויקח אתו בר־נבא ויביאהו אל־השליחים ויספר להם את אשר־ראה בדרך את־האדון וכי הוא דבר אליו ואשר השמיע באמץ לבו בדמשק את־שם ישוע׃
Act 9:28 ויהי אתם יוצא ובא בירושלים ויקרא באמץ לבו בשם האדון ישוע׃
Act 9:29 וידבר ויתוכח גם עם־היהודים היונים והם זממו להמיתו׃
Act 9:30 וישמעו האחים ויורידו אתו לקיסריה וישלחהו אל־טרסוס׃
Act 9:31 ויהי שלום לקהלות בכל־מקמות יהודה והגליל ושמרון ותבנינה ותתהלכנה ביראת האדון ותרבינה בנחמת רוח הקדש׃
Act 9:32 ויהי בסבב פטרוס בכל־המקמות וירד גם אל־הקדושים אשר ישבו בלד׃
Act 9:33 וימצא־שם איש שמו אניס והוא שכב על־משכבו זה שמנה שנים והוא נכה אברים׃
Act 9:34 ויאמר אליו פטרוס אניס רפאך ישוע המשיח קום הצע את מטתך אתה ויקם כרגע׃
Act 9:35 ויראו אותו כל־ישבי לד והשרון ויפנו אל־האדון׃
Act 9:36 ותלמידה ביפו ושמה טביתא תרגומו צביה והיא מלאה מעשים טובים וצדקות אשר עשתה׃
Act 9:37 ויהי בימים ההם ותחלה ותמת וירחצו אתה וישימוה בעליה׃
Act 9:38 ולד קרובה היא ליפו וישמעו התלמידים כי פטרוס שם וישלחו אליו שני אנשים ויפצרו־בו לבלתי העצל לעבר אליהם׃
Act 9:39 ויקם פטרוס וילך אתם ובבאו העלהו אל־העליה ותגשנה אליו כל־האלמנות בוכיות ומראות לו את הכתנת ואת הבגדים אשר עשתה צביה בעודה עמהן׃
Act 9:40 ויוצא פטרוס את־כלם החוצה ויכרע על־ברכיו ויתפלל ויפן אל־גויתה ויאמר טביתא קומי ותפתח את־עיניה ותרא את־פטרוס ותתעודד׃
Act 9:41 וישלח ידו ויקם אתה ויקרא את־הקדושים ואת־האלמנות ויעמד אתה חיה לפניהם׃
Act 9:42 ויודע הדבר בכל־יפו ויאמינו רבים באדון׃
Act 9:43 ויואל לשבת ביפו ימים רבים עם־בורסי אחד ושמו שמעון׃

Act 8:1 And Sha’ul was giving approval to his death. And on that day there was a great persecution against the assembly which was at Yerushalayim, and they were all scattered throughout the countries of Yehuḏah and Shomeron, except the emissaries.
Act 8:2 And dedicated men buried Stephanos, and made great lamentation over him.
Act 8:3 But Sha’ul was ravaging the assembly, entering every house, and dragging off men and women, putting them in prison.
Act 8:4 Then those who had been scattered went everywhere bringing the Good News: the Word!
Act 8:5 And going down to the city of Shomeron Philip proclaimed Mashiach to them.
Act 8:6 And the crowds with one mind heeded what Philip said, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
Act 8:7 For unclean spirits came out of many who were possessed, crying with a loud voice, and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.
Act 8:8 And there came to be great joy in that city.
Act 8:9 Now there was a certain man called Shimʽon, who formerly was practicing magic in the city and astonishing the people of Shomeron, claiming to be someone great,
Act 8:10 to whom they all were giving heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, “This one is the power of Elohim, which is great.”
Act 8:11 And they were giving heed to him because for a long time he had amazed them with his magic.
Act 8:12 And when they believed Philip as he brought the Good News about the reign of Elohim and the Name of יהושע HaMashiach, both men and women were immersed.
Act 8:13 And Shimʽon himself also believed. And when he was immersed he continued with Philip, and was amazed, seeing the miracles and signs which took place.
Act 8:14 And when the emissaries who were at Yerushalayim heard that Shomeron had received the Word of Elohim, they sent Kĕpha and Yochanan to them,
Act 8:15 who, when they had come down, prayed for them to receive the Ruach HaKadosh,
Act 8:16 for He had not yet fallen on any of them, but they had only been immersed in the Name of the Master יהושע.
Act 8:17 Then they laid hands on them, and they received the Ruach HaKadosh.
Act 8:18 And Shimʽon, seeing that through the laying on of the hands of the emissaries the Ruach HaKadosh was given, he offered them money,
Act 8:19 saying, “Give me this authority too, so that anyone I lay hands on shall receive the Ruach HaKadosh.”
Act 8:20 But Kĕpha said to him, “Let your silver perish with you, because you thought to buy the gift of Elohim through money!
Act 8:21 “You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before Elohim.
Act 8:22 “Repent therefore of this evil of yours, and plead with Elohim to forgive you the intention of your heart.
Act 8:23 “For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by unrighteousness.”
Act 8:24 But Shimʽon answering, said, “Plead with the Master for me, so that none of what you had said shall come upon me.”
Act 8:25 Then after they had earnestly witnessed and spoken the Word of יהוה, they returned to Yerushalayim, bringing the Good News in many villages of the Shomeronites.
Act 8:26 But a messenger of יהוה spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the way which goes down from Yerushalayim to Azzah.” This is desert.
Act 8:27 And he arose and went, and saw, a man of Kush, a eunuch of great authority under Kandake the sovereigness of the Kushites, who was in charge of all her treasury, and had come to Yerushalayim to worship,
Act 8:28 and was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Yesha`Yahu.
Act 8:29 And the Ruach said to Philip, “Go near and join him in that chariot.”
Act 8:30 And running up, Philip heard him reading Yesha`Yahu HaNavi, and said, “Do you know what you are reading?”
Act 8:31 And he said, “How am I able, unless someone guides me?” And he called Philip near, to come up and sit with him.
Act 8:32 And the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, “He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and like a lamb silent before its shearer, so He opened not His mouth.
Act 8:33 “In His humiliation He was deprived of right-ruling. And who shall declare His generation? Because His life was taken from the earth.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 53:7-8.
Act 8:34 And the eunuch, answering Philip, said, “I ask you, about whom does the prophet say this, about himself or about some other?”
Act 8:35 And Philip opening his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, brought to him the Good News: יהושע!
Act 8:36 And as they were going on the way, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “Look, water! What hinders me from being immersed?”
Act 8:37 And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, it is permitted.” And he answering, said, “I believe that יהושע HaMashiach is the Son of Elohim.”1 Footnote: 1Mt. 16:16.
Act 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he immersed him.
Act 8:39 And when they came up out of the water, the Ruach of יהוה caught Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, for he went his way, rejoicing.
Act 8:40 Philip, however, was found at Ashdoḏ. And passing through, he brought the Good News in all the cities until he came to Caesarea.
Act 9:1 But Sha’ul, still breathing threats and murder against the taught ones of the Master, having come to the kohen gadol,
Act 9:2 asked from him letters to the congregations of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, to bring them bound to Yerushalayim.
Act 9:3 And it came to be, that as he journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light flashed around him from the heaven.
Act 9:4 And he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Sha’ul, Sha’ul, why do you persecute Me?”
Act 9:5 And he said, “Who are You, Master?” And the Master said, “I am יהושע, whom you persecute. It is hard for you to kick against the prods.”
Act 9:6 Both trembling, and being astonished, he said, “Master, what do You wish me to do?” And the Master said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you shall be told what you have to do.”
Act 9:7 And the men journeying with him stood speechless, hearing indeed the voice but seeing no one.
Act 9:8 And Sha’ul arose from the ground, but when his eyes were opened he saw no one. And leading him by the hand they brought him into Damascus.
Act 9:9 And he was three days without sight, and did not eat nor drink.
Act 9:10 And there was at Damascus a certain taught one, by name Ḥananyah.1 And the Master said unto him in a vision, “Ḥananyah!” And he said, “Here I am, Master.” Footnote: 1See 22:12.
Act 9:11 And the Master said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and seek in the house of Yehuḏah for one called Sha’ul of Tarsos, for look, he is praying,
Act 9:12 and has seen in a vision a man named Ḥananyah coming in and laying his hand on him, so as to see again.”
Act 9:13 And Ḥananyah answered, “Master, I have heard from many about this man, how many evils he did to Your kadosh ones in Yerushalayim,
Act 9:14 and here he has authority from the kohen gadol to bind all those calling on Your Name.”
Act 9:15 But the Master said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My Name before nations, sovereigns, and the children of Yisra’ĕl.
Act 9:16 “For I shall show him how much he has to suffer for My Name.”
Act 9:17 And Ḥananyah went away and went into the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Sha’ul, the Master יהושע, who appeared to you on the way as you came, has sent me, so that you might see again and be filled with the Ruach HaKadosh.”
Act 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes, as it were scales, and he received his sight. And rising up, he was immersed.
Act 9:19 And having received food, he was strengthened. And Sha’ul was with the taught ones at Damascus some days.
Act 9:20 And immediately he proclaimed the Mashiach in the congregations, that He is the Son of Elohim.
Act 9:21 And all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those calling on this Name in Yerushalayim, and has come here for this, to take them bound to the chief kohanim?”
Act 9:22 But Sha’ul kept increasing in strength, and was confounding the Yehuḏim who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this is the Mashiach.
Act 9:23 And after many days had elapsed, the Yehuḏim plotted to kill him.
Act 9:24 But their plot became known to Sha’ul. And they were watching the gates day and night, to kill him.
Act 9:25 But taking him by night, the taught ones let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
Act 9:26 And having arrived at Yerushalayim, Sha’ul tried to join the taught ones, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a taught one.
Act 9:27 But Barnaḇah took him and brought him to the emissaries, and told them how he had seen the Master on the way, and that He had spoken to him, and how he was speaking boldly at Damascus in the Name of יהושע.
Act 9:28 And he was with them at Yerushalayim, coming in and going out,
Act 9:29 and speaking boldly in the Name of the Master יהושע and disputed with the Hellenists, but they undertook to kill him.
Act 9:30 And when the brothers learned of this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsos.
Act 9:31 Then indeed the assemblies throughout all Yehuḏah, and Galil, and Shomeron had peace and were built up, and walking in the fear of יהוה and in the encouragement of the Ruach HaKadosh, they were being increased.
Act 9:32 And it came to be, as Kĕpha was passing through all places, that he also came down to the set-apart ones who were dwelling at Lod.
Act 9:33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years, being paralytic.
Act 9:34 And Kĕpha said to him, “Aeneas, יהושע HaMashiach heals you! Rise up and make your bed.” And immediately he rose up.
Act 9:35 And all those dwelling at Lod and Sharon saw him and did turn to the Master.
Act 9:36 And in Yapho there was a certain taught one named Taḇitha, which means Dorkas. This woman was filled with good works and kind deeds which she did.
Act 9:37 And it came to be in those days that she became sick and died. And having washed her, they laid her in an upper room.
Act 9:38 And Lod being near to Yapho, and the taught ones having heard that Kĕpha was there, they sent two men to him, urging him not to delay in coming to them.
Act 9:39 And having risen up, Kĕpha went with them. And when he arrived, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood beside him weeping, showing the inner garments and outer garments which Dorkas had made while she was with them.
Act 9:40 But Kĕpha sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Taḇitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and seeing Kĕpha, she sat up.
Act 9:41 And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And calling the kadosh ones and widows, he presented her alive.
Act 9:42 And it became known throughout all Yapho, and many believed on the Master.
Act 9:43 And it came to be that he stayed for many days in Yapho with Shimʽon, a leather-tanner.

Act 8:20 But Kĕpha said to him, “Let your silver perish with you, because you thought to buy the gift of Elohim through money!
Act 8:21 “You have neither part nor lot in this matter, for your heart is not right before Elohim.
Act 8:22 “Repent therefore of this evil of yours, and plead with Elohim to forgive you the intention of your heart.
Act 8:23 “For I see that you are poisoned by bitterness and bound by unrighteousness.”
Act 8:24 But Shimʽon answering, said, “Plead with the Master for me, so that none of what you had said shall come upon me.”
Act 8:25 Then after they had earnestly witnessed and spoken the Word of יהוה, they returned to Yerushalayim, bringing the Good News in many villages of the Shomeronites.
Act 8:26 But a messenger of יהוה spoke to Philip, saying, “Arise and go toward the south along the way which goes down from Yerushalayim to Azzah.” This is desert.
Act 8:27 And he arose and went, and saw, a man of Kush, a eunuch of great authority under Kandake the sovereigness of the Kushites, who was in charge of all her treasury, and had come to Yerushalayim to worship,
Act 8:28 and was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading the prophet Yesha`Yahu.
Act 8:29 And the Ruach said to Philip, “Go near and join him in that chariot.”
Act 8:30 And running up, Philip heard him reading Yesha`Yahu HaNavi, and said, “Do you know what you are reading?”
Act 8:31 And he said, “How am I able, unless someone guides me?” And he called Philip near, to come up and sit with him.
Act 8:32 And the passage of the Scripture which he was reading was this, “He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and like a lamb silent before its shearer, so He opened not His mouth.
Act 8:33 “In His humiliation He was deprived of right-ruling. And who shall declare His generation? Because His life was taken from the earth.”1 Footnote: 1Isa. 53:7-8.
Act 8:34 And the eunuch, answering Philip, said, “I ask you, about whom does the prophet say this, about himself or about some other?”
Act 8:35 And Philip opening his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, brought to him the Good News: יהושע!
Act 8:36 And as they were going on the way, they came to some water. And the eunuch said, “Look, water! What hinders me from being immersed?”
Act 8:37 And Philip said, “If you believe with all your heart, it is permitted.” And he answering, said, “I believe that יהושע HaMashiach is the Son of Elohim.”1 Footnote: 1Mt. 16:16.
Act 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he immersed him.
Act 8:39 And when they came up out of the water, the Ruach of יהוה caught Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, for he went his way, rejoicing.
Act 8:40 Philip, however, was found at Ashdoḏ. And passing through, he brought the Good News in all the cities until he came to Caesarea.
Act 9:1 But Sha’ul, still breathing threats and murder against the taught ones of the Master, having come to the kohen gadol,
Act 9:2 asked from him letters to the congregations of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, to bring them bound to Yerushalayim.
Act 9:3 And it came to be, that as he journeyed, he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light flashed around him from the heaven.
Act 9:4 And he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Sha’ul, Sha’ul, why do you persecute Me?”
Act 9:5 And he said, “Who are You, Master?” And the Master said, “I am יהושע, whom you persecute. It is hard for you to kick against the prods.”
Act 9:6 Both trembling, and being astonished, he said, “Master, what do You wish me to do?” And the Master said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you shall be told what you have to do.”
Act 9:7 And the men journeying with him stood speechless, hearing indeed the voice but seeing no one.
Act 9:8 And Sha’ul arose from the ground, but when his eyes were opened he saw no one. And leading him by the hand they brought him into Damascus.
Act 9:9 And he was three days without sight, and did not eat nor drink.
Act 9:10 And there was at Damascus a certain taught one, by name Ḥananyah.1 And the Master said unto him in a vision, “Ḥananyah!” And he said, “Here I am, Master.” Footnote: 1See 22:12.
Act 9:11 And the Master said to him, “Arise and go to the street called Straight, and seek in the house of Yehuḏah for one called Sha’ul of Tarsos, for look, he is praying,
Act 9:12 and has seen in a vision a man named Ḥananyah coming in and laying his hand on him, so as to see again.”
Act 9:13 And Ḥananyah answered, “Master, I have heard from many about this man, how many evils he did to Your kadosh ones in Yerushalayim,
Act 9:14 and here he has authority from the kohen gadol to bind all those calling on Your Name.”
Act 9:15 But the Master said to him, “Go, for he is a chosen vessel of Mine to bear My Name before nations, sovereigns, and the children of Yisra’ĕl.
Act 9:16 “For I shall show him how much he has to suffer for My Name.”
Act 9:17 And Ḥananyah went away and went into the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Sha’ul, the Master יהושע, who appeared to you on the way as you came, has sent me, so that you might see again and be filled with the Ruach HaKadosh.”
Act 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes, as it were scales, and he received his sight. And rising up, he was immersed.
Act 9:19 And having received food, he was strengthened. And Sha’ul was with the taught ones at Damascus some days.
Act 9:20 And immediately he proclaimed the Mashiach in the congregations, that He is the Son of Elohim.
Act 9:21 And all who heard were amazed, and said, “Is this not he who destroyed those calling on this Name in Yerushalayim, and has come here for this, to take them bound to the chief kohanim?”
Act 9:22 But Sha’ul kept increasing in strength, and was confounding the Yehuḏim who dwelt in Damascus, proving that this is the Mashiach.
Act 9:23 And after many days had elapsed, the Yehuḏim plotted to kill him.
Act 9:24 But their plot became known to Sha’ul. And they were watching the gates day and night, to kill him.
Act 9:25 But taking him by night, the taught ones let him down through the wall, lowering him in a basket.
Act 9:26 And having arrived at Yerushalayim, Sha’ul tried to join the taught ones, but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a taught one.
Act 9:27 But Barnaḇah took him and brought him to the emissaries, and told them how he had seen the Master on the way, and that He had spoken to him, and how he was speaking boldly at Damascus in the Name of יהושע.
Act 9:28 And he was with them at Yerushalayim, coming in and going out,
Act 9:29 and speaking boldly in the Name of the Master יהושע and disputed with the Hellenists, but they undertook to kill him.
Act 9:30 And when the brothers learned of this, they brought him down to Caesarea and sent him out to Tarsos.
Act 9:31 Then indeed the assemblies throughout all Yehuḏah, and Galil, and Shomeron had peace and were built up, and walking in the fear of יהוה and in the encouragement of the Ruach HaKadosh, they were being increased.
Act 9:32 And it came to be, as Kĕpha was passing through all places, that he also came down to the set-apart ones who were dwelling at Lod.
Act 9:33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, who had been bedridden for eight years, being paralytic.
Act 9:34 And Kĕpha said to him, “Aeneas, יהושע HaMashiach heals you! Rise up and make your bed.” And immediately he rose up.
Act 9:35 And all those dwelling at Lod and Sharon saw him and did turn to the Master.
Act 9:36 And in Yapho there was a certain taught one named Taḇitha, which means Dorkas. This woman was filled with good works and kind deeds which she did.
Act 9:37 And it came to be in those days that she became sick and died. And having washed her, they laid her in an upper room.
Act 9:38 And Lod being near to Yapho, and the taught ones having heard that Kĕpha was there, they sent two men to him, urging him not to delay in coming to them.
Act 9:39 And having risen up, Kĕpha went with them. And when he arrived, they brought him to the upper room. And all the widows stood beside him weeping, showing the inner garments and outer garments which Dorkas had made while she was with them.
Act 9:40 But Kĕpha sent them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Taḇitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and seeing Kĕpha, she sat up.
Act 9:41 And giving her his hand, he lifted her up. And calling the kadosh ones and widows, he presented her alive.
Act 9:42 And it became known throughout all Yapho, and many believed on the Master.
Act 9:43 And it came to be that he stayed for many days in Yapho with Shimʽon, a leather-tanner.

Dev 12:21 כי־ירחק ממך המקום אשׁר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשׂום שׁמו שׁם וזבחת מבקרך ומצאנך אשׁר נתן יהוה לך כאשׁר צויתך ואכלת בשׁעריך בכל אות נפשׁך׃
Dev 12:22 אך כאשׁר יאכל את־הצבי ואת־האיל כן תאכלנו הטמא והטהור יחדו יאכלנו׃
Dev 12:23 רק חזק לבלתי אכל הדם כי הדם הוא הנפשׁ ולא־תאכל הנפשׁ עם־הבשׂר׃
Dev 12:24 לא תאכלנו על־הארץ תשׁפכנו כמים׃
Dev 12:25 לא תאכלנו למען ייטב לך ולבניך אחריך כי־תעשׂה הישׁר בעיני יהוה׃
Dev 12:26 רק קדשׁיך אשׁר־יהיו לך ונדריך תשׂא ובאת אל־המקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה׃
Dev 12:27 ועשׂית עלתיך הבשׂר והדם על־מזבח יהוה אלהיך ודם־זבחיך ישׁפך על־מזבח יהוה אלהיך והבשׂר תאכל׃
Dev 12:28 שׁמר ושׁמעת את כל־הדברים האלה אשׁר אנכי מצוך למען ייטב לך ולבניך אחריך עד־עולם כי תעשׂה הטוב והישׁר בעיני יהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 12:29 כי־יכרית יהוה אלהיך את־הגוים אשׁר אתה בא־שׁמה לרשׁת אותם מפניך וירשׁת אתם וישׁבת בארצם׃
Dev 12:30 השׁמר לך פן־תנקשׁ אחריהם אחרי השׁמדם מפניך ופן־תדרשׁ לאלהיהם לאמר איכה יעבדו הגוים האלה את־אלהיהם ואעשׂה־כן גם־אני׃
Dev 12:31 לא־תעשׂה כן ליהוה אלהיך כי כל־תועבת יהוה אשׁר שׂנא עשׂו לאלהיהם כי גם את־בניהם ואת־בנתיהם ישׂרפו באשׁ לאלהיהם׃
Dev 12:32 (13:1) את כל־הדבר אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם אתו תשׁמרו לעשׂות לא־תסף עליו ולא תגרע ממנו׃
Dev 13:1 (13:2) כי־יקום בקרבך נביא או חלם חלום ונתן אליך אות או מופת׃
Dev 13:2 (13:3) ובא האות והמופת אשׁר־דבר אליך לאמר נלכה אחרי אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא־ידעתם ונעבדם׃
Dev 13:3 (13:4) לא תשׁמע אל־דברי הנביא ההוא או אל־חולם החלום ההוא כי מנסה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם לדעת הישׁכם אהבים את־יהוה אלהיכם בכל־לבבכם ובכל־נפשׁכם׃
Dev 13:4 (13:5) אחרי יהוה אלהיכם תלכו ואתו תיראו ואת־מצותיו תשׁמרו ובקלו תשׁמעו ואתו תעבדו ובו תדבקון׃
Dev 13:5 (13:6) והנביא ההוא או חלם החלום ההוא יומת כי דבר־סרה על־יהוה אלהיכם המוציא אתכם מארץ מצרים והפדך מבית עבדים להדיחך מן־הדרך אשׁר צוך יהוה אלהיך ללכת בה ובערת הרע מקרבך׃
Dev 13:6 (13:7) כי יסיתך אחיך בן־אמך או־בנך או־בתך או אשׁת חיקך או רעך אשׁר כנפשׁך בסתר לאמר נלכה ונעבדה אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא ידעת אתה ואבתיך׃
Dev 13:7 (13:8) מאלהי העמים אשׁר סביבתיכם הקרבים אליך או הרחקים ממך מקצה הארץ ועד־קצה הארץ׃
Dev 13:8 (13:9) לא־תאבה לו ולא תשׁמע אליו ולא־תחוס עינך עליו ולא־תחמל ולא־תכסה עליו׃
Dev 13:9 (13:10) כי הרג תהרגנו ידך תהיה־בו בראשׁונה להמיתו ויד כל־העם באחרנה׃
Dev 13:10 (13:11) וסקלתו באבנים ומת כי בקשׁ להדיחך מעל יהוה אלהיך המוציאך מארץ מצרים מבית עבדים׃
Dev 13:11 (13:12) וכל־ישׂראל ישׁמעו ויראון ולא־יוספו לעשׂות כדבר הרע הזה בקרבך׃
Dev 13:12 (13:13) כי־תשׁמע באחת עריך אשׁר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לשׁבת שׁם לאמר׃
Dev 13:13 (13:14) יצאו אנשׁים בני־בליעל מקרבך וידיחו את־ישׁבי עירם לאמר נלכה ונעבדה אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא־ידעתם׃
Dev 13:14 (13:15) ודרשׁת וחקרת ושׁאלת היטב והנה אמת נכון הדבר נעשׂתה התועבה הזאת בקרבך׃
Dev 13:15 (13:16) הכה תכה את־ישׁבי העיר ההוא לפי־חרב החרם אתה ואת־כל־אשׁר־בה ואת־בהמתה לפי־חרב׃
Dev 13:16 (13:17) ואת־כל־שׁללה תקבץ אל־תוך רחבה ושׂרפת באשׁ את־העיר ואת־כל־שׁללה כליל ליהוה אלהיך והיתה תל עולם לא תבנה עוד׃
Dev 13:17 (13:18) ולא־ידבק בידך מאומה מן־החרם למען ישׁוב יהוה מחרון אפו ונתן־לך רחמים ורחמך והרבך כאשׁר נשׁבע לאבתיך׃
Dev 13:18 (13:19) כי תשׁמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשׁמר את־כל־מצותיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לעשׂות הישׁר בעיני יהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 14:1 בנים אתם ליהוה אלהיכם לא תתגדדו ולא־תשׂימו קרחה בין עיניכם למת׃
Dev 14:2 כי עם קדושׁ אתה ליהוה אלהיך ובך בחר יהוה להיות לו לעם סגלה מכל העמים אשׁר על־פני האדמה׃
Dev 14:3 לא תאכל כל־תועבה׃
Dev 14:4 זאת הבהמה אשׁר תאכלו שׁור שׂה כשׂבים ושׂה עזים׃
Dev 14:5 איל וצבי ויחמור ואקו ודישׁן ותאו וזמר׃
Dev 14:6 וכל־בהמה מפרסת פרסה ושׁסעת שׁסע שׁתי פרסות מעלת גרה בבהמה אתה תאכלו׃
Dev 14:7 אך את־זה לא תאכלו ממעלי הגרה וממפריסי הפרסה השׁסועה את־הגמל ואת־הארנבת ואת־השׁפן כי־מעלה גרה המה ופרסה לא הפריסו טמאים הם לכם׃
Dev 14:8 ואת־החזיר כי־מפריס פרסה הוא ולא גרה טמא הוא לכם מבשׂרם לא תאכלו ובנבלתם לא תגעו׃
Dev 14:9 את־זה תאכלו מכל אשׁר במים כל אשׁר־לו סנפיר וקשׂקשׂת תאכלו׃
Dev 14:10 וכל אשׁר אין־לו סנפיר וקשׂקשׂת לא תאכלו טמא הוא לכם׃
Dev 14:11 כל־צפור טהרה תאכלו׃
Dev 14:12 וזה אשׁר לא־תאכלו מהם הנשׁר והפרס והעזניה׃
Dev 14:13 והראה ואת־האיה והדיה למינה׃
Dev 14:14 ואת כל־ערב למינו׃
Dev 14:15 ואת בת היענה ואת־התחמס ואת־השׁחף ואת־הנץ למינהו׃
Dev 14:16 את־הכוס ואת־הינשׁוף והתנשׁמת׃
Dev 14:17 והקאת ואת־הרחמה ואת־השׁלך׃
Dev 14:18 והחסידה והאנפה למינה והדוכיפת והעטלף׃
Dev 14:19 וכל שׁרץ העוף טמא הוא לכם לא יאכלו׃
Dev 14:20 כל־עוף טהור תאכלו׃
Dev 14:21 לא תאכלו כל־נבלה לגר אשׁר־בשׁעריך תתננה ואכלה או מכר לנכרי כי עם קדושׁ אתה ליהוה אלהיך לא־תבשׁל גדי בחלב אמו׃
Dev 14:22 עשׂר תעשׂר את כל־תבואת זרעך היצא השׂדה שׁנה שׁנה׃
Dev 14:23 ואכלת לפני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשׁר־יבחר לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם מעשׂר דגנך תירשׁך ויצהרך ובכרת בקרך וצאנך למען תלמד ליראה את־יהוה אלהיך כל־הימים׃
Dev 14:24 וכי־ירבה ממך הדרך כי לא תוכל שׂאתו כי־ירחק ממך המקום אשׁר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשׂום שׁמו שׁם כי יברכך יהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 14:25 ונתתה בכסף וצרת הכסף בידך והלכת אל־המקום אשׁר יבחר יהוה אלהיך בו׃
Dev 14:26 ונתתה הכסף בכל אשׁר־תאוה נפשׁך בבקר ובצאן וביין ובשׁכר ובכל אשׁר תשׁאלך נפשׁך ואכלת שׁם לפני יהוה אלהיך ושׂמחת אתה וביתך׃
Dev 14:27 והלוי אשׁר־בשׁעריך לא תעזבנו כי אין לו חלק ונחלה עמך׃
Dev 14:28 מקצה שׁלשׁ שׁנים תוציא את־כל־מעשׂר תבואתך בשׁנה ההוא והנחת בשׁעריך׃
Dev 14:29 ובא הלוי כי אין־לו חלק ונחלה עמך והגר והיתום והאלמנה אשׁר בשׁעריך ואכלו ושׂבעו למען יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל־מעשׂה ידך אשׁר תעשׂה׃
Dev 15:1 מקץ שׁבע־שׁנים תעשׂה שׁמטה׃
Dev 15:2 וזה דבר השׁמטה שׁמוט כל־בעל משׁה ידו אשׁר ישׁה ברעהו לא־יגשׂ את־רעהו ואת־אחיו כי־קרא שׁמטה ליהוה׃
Dev 15:3 את־הנכרי תגשׂ ואשׁר יהיה לך את־אחיך תשׁמט ידך׃
Dev 15:4 אפס כי לא יהיה־בך אביון כי־ברך יברכך יהוה בארץ אשׁר יהוה אלהיך נתן־לך נחלה לרשׁתה׃
Dev 15:5 רק אם־שׁמוע תשׁמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשׁמר לעשׂות את־כל־המצוה הזאת אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום׃
Dev 15:6 כי־יהוה אלהיך ברכך כאשׁר דבר־לך והעבטת גוים רבים ואתה לא תעבט ומשׁלת בגוים רבים ובך לא ימשׁלו׃
Dev 15:7 כי־יהיה בך אביון מאחד אחיך באחד שׁעריך בארצך אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא תאמץ את־לבבך ולא תקפץ את־ידך מאחיך האביון׃
Dev 15:8 כי־פתח תפתח את־ידך לו והעבט תעביטנו די מחסרו אשׁר יחסר לו׃
Dev 15:9 השׁמר לך פן־יהיה דבר עם־לבבך בליעל לאמר קרבה שׁנת־השׁבע שׁנת השׁמטה ורעה עינך באחיך האביון ולא תתן לו וקרא עליך אל־יהוה והיה בך חטא׃
Dev 15:10 נתון תתן לו ולא־ירע לבבך בתתך לו כי בגלל הדבר הזה יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל־מעשׂך ובכל משׁלח ידך׃
Dev 15:11 כי לא־יחדל אביון מקרב הארץ על־כן אנכי מצוך לאמר פתח תפתח את־ידך לאחיך לעניך ולאבינך בארצך׃
Dev 15:12 כי־ימכר לך אחיך העברי או העבריה ועבדך שׁשׁ שׁנים ובשׁנה השׁביעת תשׁלחנו חפשׁי מעמך׃
Dev 15:13 וכי־תשׁלחנו חפשׁי מעמך לא תשׁלחנו ריקם׃
Dev 15:14 העניק תעניק לו מצאנך ומגרנך ומיקבך אשׁר ברכך יהוה אלהיך תתן־לו׃
Dev 15:15 וזכרת כי עבד היית בארץ מצרים ויפדך יהוה אלהיך על־כן אנכי מצוך את־הדבר הזה היום׃
Dev 15:16 והיה כי־יאמר אליך לא אצא מעמך כי אהבך ואת־ביתך כי־טוב לו עמך׃
Dev 15:17 ולקחת את־המרצע ונתתה באזנו ובדלת והיה לך עבד עולם ואף לאמתך תעשׂה־כן׃
Dev 15:18 לא־יקשׁה בעינך בשׁלחך אתו חפשׁי מעמך כי משׁנה שׂכר שׂכיר עבדך שׁשׁ שׁנים וברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל אשׁר תעשׂה׃
Dev 15:19 כל־הבכור אשׁר יולד בבקרך ובצאנך הזכר תקדישׁ ליהוה אלהיך לא תעבד בבכר שׁורך ולא תגז בכור צאנך׃
Dev 15:20 לפני יהוה אלהיך תאכלנו שׁנה בשׁנה במקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה אתה וביתך׃
Dev 15:21 וכי־יהיה בו מום פסח או עור כל מום רע לא תזבחנו ליהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 15:22 בשׁעריך תאכלנו הטמא והטהור יחדו כצבי וכאיל׃
Dev 15:23 רק את־דמו לא תאכל על־הארץ תשׁפכנו כמים׃
Dev 16:1 שׁמור את־חדשׁ האביב ועשׂית פסח ליהוה אלהיך כי בחדשׁ האביב הוציאך יהוה אלהיך ממצרים לילה׃
Dev 16:2 וזבחת פסח ליהוה אלהיך צאן ובקר במקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם׃
Dev 16:3 לא־תאכל עליו חמץ שׁבעת ימים תאכל־עליו מצות לחם עני כי בחפזון יצאת מארץ מצרים למען תזכר את־יום צאתך מארץ מצרים כל ימי חייך׃
Dev 16:4 ולא־יראה לך שׂאר בכל־גבלך שׁבעת ימים ולא־ילין מן־הבשׂר אשׁר תזבח בערב ביום הראשׁון לבקר׃
Dev 16:5 לא תוכל לזבח את־הפסח באחד שׁעריך אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך׃
Dev 16:6 כי אם־אל־המקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם תזבח את־הפסח בערב כבוא השׁמשׁ מועד צאתך ממצרים׃
Dev 16:7 ובשׁלת ואכלת במקום אשׁר יבחר יהוה אלהיך בו ופנית בבקר והלכת לאהליך׃
Dev 16:8 שׁשׁת ימים תאכל מצות וביום השׁביעי עצרת ליהוה אלהיך לא תעשׂה מלאכה׃
Dev 16:9 שׁבעה שׁבעת תספר־לך מהחל חרמשׁ בקמה תחל לספר שׁבעה שׁבעות׃
Dev 16:10 ועשׂית חג שׁבעות ליהוה אלהיך מסת נדבת ידך אשׁר תתן כאשׁר יברכך יהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 16:11 ושׂמחת לפני יהוה אלהיך אתה ובנך ובתך ועבדך ואמתך והלוי אשׁר בשׁעריך והגר והיתום והאלמנה אשׁר בקרבך במקום אשׁר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם׃
Dev 16:12 וזכרת כי־עבד היית במצרים ושׁמרת ועשׂית את־החקים האלה׃
Dev 16:13 חג הסכת תעשׂה לך שׁבעת ימים באספך מגרנך ומיקבך׃
Dev 16:14 ושׂמחת בחגך אתה ובנך ובתך ועבדך ואמתך והלוי והגר והיתום והאלמנה אשׁר בשׁעריך׃
Dev 16:15 שׁבעת ימים תחג ליהוה אלהיך במקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה כי יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל תבואתך ובכל מעשׂה ידיך והיית אך שׂמח׃
Dev 16:16 שׁלושׁ פעמים בשׁנה יראה כל־זכורך את־פני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשׁר יבחר בחג המצות ובחג השׁבעות ובחג הסכות ולא יראה את־פני יהוה ריקם׃
Dev 16:17 אישׁ כמתנת ידו כברכת יהוה אלהיך אשׁר נתן־לך׃
Dev 11:26 ראה אנכי נתן לפניכם היום ברכה וקללה׃
Dev 11:27 את־הברכה אשׁר תשׁמעו אל־מצות יהוה אלהיכם אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום׃
Dev 11:28 והקללה אם־לא תשׁמעו אל־מצות יהוה אלהיכם וסרתם מן־הדרך אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום ללכת אחרי אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא־ידעתם׃
Dev 11:29 והיה כי יביאך יהוה אלהיך אל־הארץ אשׁר־אתה בא־שׁמה לרשׁתה ונתתה את־הברכה על־הר גרזים ואת־הקללה על־הר עיבל׃
Dev 11:30 הלא־המה בעבר הירדן אחרי דרך מבוא השׁמשׁ בארץ הכנעני הישׁב בערבה מול הגלגל אצל אלוני מרה׃
Dev 11:31 כי אתם עברים את־הירדן לבא לרשׁת את־הארץ אשׁר־יהוה אלהיכם נתן לכם וירשׁתם אתה וישׁבתם־בה׃
Dev 11:32 ושׁמרתם לעשׂות את כל־החקים ואת־המשׁפטים אשׁר אנכי נתן לפניכם היום׃
Dev 12:1 אלה החקים והמשׁפטים אשׁר תשׁמרון לעשׂות בארץ אשׁר נתן יהוה אלהי אבתיך לך לרשׁתה כל־הימים אשׁר־אתם חיים על־האדמה׃
Dev 12:2 אבד תאבדון את־כל־המקמות אשׁר עבדו־שׁם הגוים אשׁר אתם ירשׁים אתם את־אלהיהם על־ההרים הרמים ועל־הגבעות ותחת כל־עץ רענן׃
Dev 12:3 ונתצתם את־מזבחתם ושׁברתם את־מצבתם ואשׁריהם תשׂרפון באשׁ ופסילי אלהיהם תגדעון ואבדתם את־שׁמם מן־המקום ההוא׃
Dev 12:4 לא־תעשׂון כן ליהוה אלהיכם׃
Dev 12:5 כי אם־אל־המקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה אלהיכם מכל־שׁבטיכם לשׂום את־שׁמו שׁם לשׁכנו תדרשׁו ובאת שׁמה׃
Dev 12:6 והבאתם שׁמה עלתיכם וזבחיכם ואת מעשׂרתיכם ואת תרומת ידכם ונדריכם ונדבתיכם ובכרת בקרכם וצאנכם׃
Dev 12:7 ואכלתם־שׁם לפני יהוה אלהיכם ושׂמחתם בכל משׁלח ידכם אתם ובתיכם אשׁר ברכך יהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 12:8 לא תעשׂון ככל אשׁר אנחנו עשׂים פה היום אישׁ כל־הישׁר בעיניו׃
Dev 12:9 כי לא־באתם עד־עתה אל־המנוחה ואל־הנחלה אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך׃
Dev 12:10 ועברתם את־הירדן וישׁבתם בארץ אשׁר־יהוה אלהיכם מנחיל אתכם והניח לכם מכל־איביכם מסביב וישׁבתם־בטח׃
Dev 12:11 והיה המקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה אלהיכם בו לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם שׁמה תביאו את כל־אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם עולתיכם וזבחיכם מעשׂרתיכם ותרמת ידכם וכל מבחר נדריכם אשׁר תדרו ליהוה׃
Dev 12:12 ושׂמחתם לפני יהוה אלהיכם אתם ובניכם ובנתיכם ועבדיכם ואמהתיכם והלוי אשׁר בשׁעריכם כי אין לו חלק ונחלה אתכם׃
Dev 12:13 השׁמר לך פן־תעלה עלתיך בכל־מקום אשׁר תראה׃
Dev 12:14 כי אם־במקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה באחד שׁבטיך שׁם תעלה עלתיך ושׁם תעשׂה כל אשׁר אנכי מצוך׃
Dev 12:15 רק בכל־אות נפשׁך תזבח ואכלת בשׂר כברכת יהוה אלהיך אשׁר נתן־לך בכל־שׁעריך הטמא והטהור יאכלנו כצבי וכאיל׃
Dev 12:16 רק הדם לא תאכלו על־הארץ תשׁפכנו כמים׃
Dev 12:17 לא־תוכל לאכל בשׁעריך מעשׂר דגנך ותירשׁך ויצהרך ובכרת בקרך וצאנך וכל־נדריך אשׁר תדר ונדבתיך ותרומת ידך׃

Dev 12:20 כי־ירחיב יהוה אלהיך את־גבלך כאשׁר דבר־לך ואמרת אכלה בשׂר כי־תאוה נפשׁך לאכל בשׂר בכל־אות נפשׁך תאכל בשׂר׃

Dev 12:32 (13:1) את כל־הדבר אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם אתו תשׁמרו לעשׂות לא־תסף עליו ולא תגרע ממנו׃

Dev 13:2 (13:3) ובא האות והמופת אשׁר־דבר אליך לאמר נלכה אחרי אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא־ידעתם ונעבדם׃
Dev 13:3 (13:4) לא תשׁמע אל־דברי הנביא ההוא או אל־חולם החלום ההוא כי מנסה יהוה אלהיכם אתכם לדעת הישׁכם אהבים את־יהוה אלהיכם בכל־לבבכם ובכל־נפשׁכם׃
Dev 13:4 (13:5) אחרי יהוה אלהיכם תלכו ואתו תיראו ואת־מצותיו תשׁמרו ובקלו תשׁמעו ואתו תעבדו ובו תדבקון׃
Dev 13:5 (13:6) והנביא ההוא או חלם החלום ההוא יומת כי דבר־סרה על־יהוה אלהיכם המוציא אתכם מארץ מצרים והפדך מבית עבדים להדיחך מן־הדרך אשׁר צוך יהוה אלהיך ללכת בה ובערת הרע מקרבך׃
Dev 13:6 (13:7) כי יסיתך אחיך בן־אמך או־בנך או־בתך או אשׁת חיקך או רעך אשׁר כנפשׁך בסתר לאמר נלכה ונעבדה אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא ידעת אתה ואבתיך׃
Dev 13:7 (13:8) מאלהי העמים אשׁר סביבתיכם הקרבים אליך או הרחקים ממך מקצה הארץ ועד־קצה הארץ׃
Dev 13:8 (13:9) לא־תאבה לו ולא תשׁמע אליו ולא־תחוס עינך עליו ולא־תחמל ולא־תכסה עליו׃
Dev 13:9 (13:10) כי הרג תהרגנו ידך תהיה־בו בראשׁונה להמיתו ויד כל־העם באחרנה׃
Dev 13:10 (13:11) וסקלתו באבנים ומת כי בקשׁ להדיחך מעל יהוה אלהיך המוציאך מארץ מצרים מבית עבדים׃
Dev 13:11 (13:12) וכל־ישׂראל ישׁמעו ויראון ולא־יוספו לעשׂות כדבר הרע הזה בקרבך׃
Dev 13:12 (13:13) כי־תשׁמע באחת עריך אשׁר יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לשׁבת שׁם לאמר׃
Dev 13:13 (13:14) יצאו אנשׁים בני־בליעל מקרבך וידיחו את־ישׁבי עירם לאמר נלכה ונעבדה אלהים אחרים אשׁר לא־ידעתם׃
Dev 13:14 (13:15) ודרשׁת וחקרת ושׁאלת היטב והנה אמת נכון הדבר נעשׂתה התועבה הזאת בקרבך׃
Dev 13:15 (13:16) הכה תכה את־ישׁבי העיר ההוא לפי־חרב החרם אתה ואת־כל־אשׁר־בה ואת־בהמתה לפי־חרב׃
Dev 13:16 (13:17) ואת־כל־שׁללה תקבץ אל־תוך רחבה ושׂרפת באשׁ את־העיר ואת־כל־שׁללה כליל ליהוה אלהיך והיתה תל עולם לא תבנה עוד׃
Dev 13:17 (13:18) ולא־ידבק בידך מאומה מן־החרם למען ישׁוב יהוה מחרון אפו ונתן־לך רחמים ורחמך והרבך כאשׁר נשׁבע לאבתיך׃
Dev 13:18 (13:19) כי תשׁמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשׁמר את־כל־מצותיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לעשׂות הישׁר בעיני יהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 14:1 בנים אתם ליהוה אלהיכם לא תתגדדו ולא־תשׂימו קרחה בין עיניכם למת׃
Dev 14:2 כי עם קדושׁ אתה ליהוה אלהיך ובך בחר יהוה להיות לו לעם סגלה מכל העמים אשׁר על־פני האדמה׃
Dev 14:3 לא תאכל כל־תועבה׃
Dev 14:4 זאת הבהמה אשׁר תאכלו שׁור שׂה כשׂבים ושׂה עזים׃
Dev 14:5 איל וצבי ויחמור ואקו ודישׁן ותאו וזמר׃
Dev 14:6 וכל־בהמה מפרסת פרסה ושׁסעת שׁסע שׁתי פרסות מעלת גרה בבהמה אתה תאכלו׃
Dev 14:7 אך את־זה לא תאכלו ממעלי הגרה וממפריסי הפרסה השׁסועה את־הגמל ואת־הארנבת ואת־השׁפן כי־מעלה גרה המה ופרסה לא הפריסו טמאים הם לכם׃
Dev 14:8 ואת־החזיר כי־מפריס פרסה הוא ולא גרה טמא הוא לכם מבשׂרם לא תאכלו ובנבלתם לא תגעו׃
Dev 14:9 את־זה תאכלו מכל אשׁר במים כל אשׁר־לו סנפיר וקשׂקשׂת תאכלו׃
Dev 14:10 וכל אשׁר אין־לו סנפיר וקשׂקשׂת לא תאכלו טמא הוא לכם׃
Dev 14:11 כל־צפור טהרה תאכלו׃
Dev 14:12 וזה אשׁר לא־תאכלו מהם הנשׁר והפרס והעזניה׃
Dev 14:13 והראה ואת־האיה והדיה למינה׃
Dev 14:14 ואת כל־ערב למינו׃
Dev 14:15 ואת בת היענה ואת־התחמס ואת־השׁחף ואת־הנץ למינהו׃
Dev 14:16 את־הכוס ואת־הינשׁוף והתנשׁמת׃
Dev 14:17 והקאת ואת־הרחמה ואת־השׁלך׃
Dev 14:18 והחסידה והאנפה למינה והדוכיפת והעטלף׃
Dev 14:19 וכל שׁרץ העוף טמא הוא לכם לא יאכלו׃
Dev 14:20 כל־עוף טהור תאכלו׃
Dev 14:21 לא תאכלו כל־נבלה לגר אשׁר־בשׁעריך תתננה ואכלה או מכר לנכרי כי עם קדושׁ אתה ליהוה אלהיך לא־תבשׁל גדי בחלב אמו׃
Dev 14:22 עשׂר תעשׂר את כל־תבואת זרעך היצא השׂדה שׁנה שׁנה׃
Dev 14:23 ואכלת לפני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשׁר־יבחר לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם מעשׂר דגנך תירשׁך ויצהרך ובכרת בקרך וצאנך למען תלמד ליראה את־יהוה אלהיך כל־הימים׃
Dev 14:24 וכי־ירבה ממך הדרך כי לא תוכל שׂאתו כי־ירחק ממך המקום אשׁר יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשׂום שׁמו שׁם כי יברכך יהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 14:25 ונתתה בכסף וצרת הכסף בידך והלכת אל־המקום אשׁר יבחר יהוה אלהיך בו׃
Dev 14:26 ונתתה הכסף בכל אשׁר־תאוה נפשׁך בבקר ובצאן וביין ובשׁכר ובכל אשׁר תשׁאלך נפשׁך ואכלת שׁם לפני יהוה אלהיך ושׂמחת אתה וביתך׃
Dev 14:27 והלוי אשׁר־בשׁעריך לא תעזבנו כי אין לו חלק ונחלה עמך׃
Dev 14:28 מקצה שׁלשׁ שׁנים תוציא את־כל־מעשׂר תבואתך בשׁנה ההוא והנחת בשׁעריך׃
Dev 14:29 ובא הלוי כי אין־לו חלק ונחלה עמך והגר והיתום והאלמנה אשׁר בשׁעריך ואכלו ושׂבעו למען יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל־מעשׂה ידך אשׁר תעשׂה׃
Dev 15:1 מקץ שׁבע־שׁנים תעשׂה שׁמטה׃
Dev 15:2 וזה דבר השׁמטה שׁמוט כל־בעל משׁה ידו אשׁר ישׁה ברעהו לא־יגשׂ את־רעהו ואת־אחיו כי־קרא שׁמטה ליהוה׃
Dev 15:3 את־הנכרי תגשׂ ואשׁר יהיה לך את־אחיך תשׁמט ידך׃
Dev 15:4 אפס כי לא יהיה־בך אביון כי־ברך יברכך יהוה בארץ אשׁר יהוה אלהיך נתן־לך נחלה לרשׁתה׃
Dev 15:5 רק אם־שׁמוע תשׁמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשׁמר לעשׂות את־כל־המצוה הזאת אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום׃
Dev 15:6 כי־יהוה אלהיך ברכך כאשׁר דבר־לך והעבטת גוים רבים ואתה לא תעבט ומשׁלת בגוים רבים ובך לא ימשׁלו׃
Dev 15:7 כי־יהיה בך אביון מאחד אחיך באחד שׁעריך בארצך אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך לא תאמץ את־לבבך ולא תקפץ את־ידך מאחיך האביון׃
Dev 15:8 כי־פתח תפתח את־ידך לו והעבט תעביטנו די מחסרו אשׁר יחסר לו׃
Dev 15:9 השׁמר לך פן־יהיה דבר עם־לבבך בליעל לאמר קרבה שׁנת־השׁבע שׁנת השׁמטה ורעה עינך באחיך האביון ולא תתן לו וקרא עליך אל־יהוה והיה בך חטא׃
Dev 15:10 נתון תתן לו ולא־ירע לבבך בתתך לו כי בגלל הדבר הזה יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל־מעשׂך ובכל משׁלח ידך׃
Dev 15:11 כי לא־יחדל אביון מקרב הארץ על־כן אנכי מצוך לאמר פתח תפתח את־ידך לאחיך לעניך ולאבינך בארצך׃
Dev 15:12 כי־ימכר לך אחיך העברי או העבריה ועבדך שׁשׁ שׁנים ובשׁנה השׁביעת תשׁלחנו חפשׁי מעמך׃
Dev 15:13 וכי־תשׁלחנו חפשׁי מעמך לא תשׁלחנו ריקם׃
Dev 15:14 העניק תעניק לו מצאנך ומגרנך ומיקבך אשׁר ברכך יהוה אלהיך תתן־לו׃
Dev 15:15 וזכרת כי עבד היית בארץ מצרים ויפדך יהוה אלהיך על־כן אנכי מצוך את־הדבר הזה היום׃
Dev 15:16 והיה כי־יאמר אליך לא אצא מעמך כי אהבך ואת־ביתך כי־טוב לו עמך׃
Dev 15:17 ולקחת את־המרצע ונתתה באזנו ובדלת והיה לך עבד עולם ואף לאמתך תעשׂה־כן׃
Dev 15:18 לא־יקשׁה בעינך בשׁלחך אתו חפשׁי מעמך כי משׁנה שׂכר שׂכיר עבדך שׁשׁ שׁנים וברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל אשׁר תעשׂה׃
Dev 15:19 כל־הבכור אשׁר יולד בבקרך ובצאנך הזכר תקדישׁ ליהוה אלהיך לא תעבד בבכר שׁורך ולא תגז בכור צאנך׃
Dev 15:20 לפני יהוה אלהיך תאכלנו שׁנה בשׁנה במקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה אתה וביתך׃
Dev 15:21 וכי־יהיה בו מום פסח או עור כל מום רע לא תזבחנו ליהוה אלהיך׃
Dev 15:22 בשׁעריך תאכלנו הטמא והטהור יחדו כצבי וכאיל׃
Dev 15:23 רק את־דמו לא תאכל על־הארץ תשׁפכנו כמים׃
Dev 16:1 שׁמור את־חדשׁ האביב ועשׂית פסח ליהוה אלהיך כי בחדשׁ האביב הוציאך יהוה אלהיך ממצרים לילה׃
Dev 16:2 וזבחת פסח ליהוה אלהיך צאן ובקר במקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם׃
Dev 16:3 לא־תאכל עליו חמץ שׁבעת ימים תאכל־עליו מצות לחם עני כי בחפזון יצאת מארץ מצרים למען תזכר את־יום צאתך מארץ מצרים כל ימי חייך׃
Dev 16:4 ולא־יראה לך שׂאר בכל־גבלך שׁבעת ימים ולא־ילין מן־הבשׂר אשׁר תזבח בערב ביום הראשׁון לבקר׃
Dev 16:5 לא תוכל לזבח את־הפסח באחד שׁעריך אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך׃
Dev 16:6 כי אם־אל־המקום אשׁר־יבחר יהוה אלהיך לשׁכן שׁמו שׁם תזבח את־הפסח בערב כבוא השׁמשׁ מועד צאתך ממצרים׃

Dev 11:26 ‘See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse:
Dev 11:27 the blessing, when you obey the mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim which I command you today;
Dev 11:28 and the curse, if you do not obey the mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other elohim which you have not known.
Dev 11:29 ‘And it shall be, when יהוה your Elohim has brought you into the land which you go to possess, that you shall put the blessing on Har Gerizim and the curse on Har Ěyḇal.
Dev 11:30 ‘Are they not beyond the Yardĕn, toward the setting sun, in the land of the Kenaʽanites who dwell in the desert plain opposite Gilgal, beside the terebinth trees of Moreh?
Dev 11:31 ‘For you are passing over the Yardĕn to go in to possess the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, and you shall possess it and dwell in it,
Dev 11:32 and shall guard to do all the laws and right-rulings which I am setting before you today.’
Dev 12:1 “These are the laws and right-rulings which you guard to do in the land which יהוה Elohim of your fathers is giving you to possess, all the days that you live on the soil.
Dev 12:2 “Completely destroy all the places where the nations which you are dispossessing served their mighty ones, on the high Harains and on the hills and under every green tree.
Dev 12:3 “And you shall break down their altars, and smash their pillars, and burn their Ashĕrim with fire. And you shall cut down the carved images of their mighty ones and shall destroy their name1 out of that place. Footnote: 1The names of the goy deities (mighty ones).
Dev 12:4 “Do not do so to יהוה your Elohim,
Dev 12:5 but seek the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His Name there, for His Dwelling Place, and there you shall enter.
Dev 12:6 “And there you shall take your burnt offerings, and your offerings, and your tithes, and the contributions of your hand, and your vowed offerings, and your voluntary offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock.
Dev 12:7 “And there you shall eat before יהוה your Elohim, and shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which יהוה your Elohim has blessed you.

Dev 12:9 “Because you have not yet entered the rest and the inheritance which יהוה your Elohim is giving you.
Dev 12:10 “But you shall pass over the Yardĕn, and shall dwell in the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to inherit, and He shall give you rest from all your enemies round about, and you shall dwell in safety.
Dev 12:11 “And it shall be, that unto the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses to make His Name dwell there, there you are to bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, and your offerings, and your tithes, and the contributions of your hand, and all your choice offerings which you vow to יהוה.
Dev 12:12 “And you shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim, you and your sons and your daughters, and your male slaves and your female slaves, and the Lĕwite who is within your gates, since he has no portion nor inheritance with you.
Dev 12:13 “Guard yourself that you do not offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see,
Dev 12:14 except in the place which יהוה chooses, in one of your tribes, there you are to offer your burnt offerings, and there you are to do all that I command you.
Dev 12:15 “Only, whatever your being desires you shall slaughter and eat, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which He has given you, within all your gates. The tam’ei and the tahor do eat of it, of the gazelle and the deer alike.
Dev 12:16 “Only, the blood you do not eat, pour it on the earth like water.
Dev 12:17 “You are not allowed to eat within your gates the tithe of your grain, or of your new wine, or of your oil, or of the firstlings of your herd or your flock, or of any of your offerings which you vow, or of your voluntary offerings, or of the contribution of your hand.
Dev 12:18 “But eat them before יהוה your Elohim, in the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses, you and your son and your daughter, and your male slave and your female slave, and the Lĕwite who is within your gates. And you shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim in all that you put your hands to.
Dev 12:19 “Guard yourself that you do not forsake the Lĕwite as long as you live in your land.
Dev 12:20 “When יהוה your Elohim enlarges your border as He has promised you, and you say, ‘Let me eat meat,’ because you long to eat meat, you eat as much meat as your being desires.
Dev 12:21 “When the place where יהוה your Elohim chooses to put His Name is too far from you, then you shall slaughter from your herd and from your flock which יהוה has given you, as I have commanded you, and you shall eat within your gates as much as your being desires.
Dev 12:22 “Only, as the gazelle and the deer are eaten, so you are to eat of it. The tam’ei and the tahor alike eat of it.
Dev 12:23 “Only, be firm not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, do not eat the life with the meat.
Dev 12:24 “Do not eat it, you pour it on the earth like water.
Dev 12:25 “Do not eat it, that it might be well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in the eyes of יהוה.
Dev 12:26 “Only, the set-apart gifts which you have, and your vowed offerings, you are to take up and go to the place which יהוה chooses.
Dev 12:27 “And you shall make your burnt offerings, the meat and the blood, on the altar of יהוה your Elohim. And the blood of your offerings is poured out on the altar of יהוה your Elohim, and you eat the meat.
Dev 12:28 “Guard, and obey all these words which I command you, that it might be well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the eyes of יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 12:29 “When יהוה your Elohim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,
Dev 12:30 guard yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire about their elohim, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their elohim? Dev 12:31 “Do not do so to יהוה your Elohim, for every abomination which יהוה hates they have done to their elohim, for they even burn their sons and daughters in the fire to their mighty ones.

Dev 13:1 “When there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he shall give you a sign or a wonder,
Dev 13:2 and the sign or the wonder shall come true, of which he has spoken to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other elohim – which you have not known – and serve them,’
Dev 13:3 do not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for יהוה your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.
Dev 13:4 “Walk after יהוה your Elohim and fear Him, and guard His mitzvot and obey His voice, and serve Him and cling to Him.
Dev 13:5 “And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams is put to death, because he has spoken apostasy against יהוה your Elohim – who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim and redeemed you from the house of bondage – to make you stray from the way in which יהוה your Elohim commanded you to walk. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst.
Dev 13:6 “When your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own being, entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other elohim’– which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers,
Dev 13:7 of the elohim of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth –
Dev 13:8 do not agree with him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pardon him, nor spare him or conceal him,
Dev 13:9 but you shall certainly kill him. Your hand is first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people,
Dev 13:10 and you shall stone him with stones until he dies, because he sought to entice you away from יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage.
Dev 13:11 “And let all Yisra’ĕl hear and fear, and not again do any such evil matter as this in your midst.
Dev 13:12 “When you hear someone in one of your cities, which יהוה your Elohim gives you to dwell in, saying,
Dev 13:13 ‘Some men, sons of Beliyaʽal, have gone out of you midst and led the inhabitants of their city astray, saying, “Let us go and serve other elohim” ’ – elohim whom you have not known –
Dev 13:14 then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And see if the matter is true and established that this abomination was done in your midst,
Dev 13:15 you shall certainly smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, putting it under the ban, and all that is in it and its livestock, with the edge of the sword.
Dev 13:16 “And gather all its plunder into the middle of the street, and completely burn with fire the city and all its plunder, before יהוה your Elohim. And it shall be a heap forever, never to be built again.
Dev 13:17 “And none of that which is put under the ban is to cling to your hand, so that יהוה turns from the fierceness of His displeasure and shall show you compassion, love you and increase you, as He swore to your fathers,
Dev 13:18 when you obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to guard all His mitzvot which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 14:1 “You are the children of יהוה your Elohim. Do not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead,
Dev 14:2 for you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim, and יהוה has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
Dev 14:3 “Do not eat whatever is abominable.
Dev 14:4 “These are the living creatures which you do eat: ox, sheep, and goat,
Dev 14:5 deer, and gazelle, and roebuck, and wild goat, and Harain goat, and antelope, and Harain sheep.
Dev 14:6 “And every beast that has a split hoof divided in two, chewing the cud, among the beasts, you do eat.
Dev 14:7 “But of those chewing the cud or those having a split hoof completely divided, you do not eat, such as these: the camel, and the hare, and the rabbit, for they chew the cud but do not have a split hoof, they are unclean for you.
Dev 14:8 “And the pig is unclean for you, because it has a split hoof, but does not chew the cud. You do not eat their flesh or touch their dead carcasses.
Dev 14:9 “These you do eat of all that are in the waters: all that have fins and scales you do eat.

Dev 14:21 “Do not eat whatever dies of itself. Give it to the stranger who is within your gates, to eat it, or sell it to a foreigner. For you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim. Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
Dev 14:22 “You shall tithe without fail all the yield of your grain that the field brings forth year by year.
Dev 14:23 “And you shall eat before יהוה your Elohim, in the place where He chooses to make His Name dwell, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, and of the firstlings of your herds and your sheep, so that you learn to fear יהוה your Elohim always.
Dev 14:24 “But when the way is too long for you, so that you are not able to bring the tithe, or when the place where יהוה your Elohim chooses to put His Name is too far from you, when יהוה your Elohim is blessing you,
Dev 14:25 then you shall give it in silver, and shall take the silver in your hand and go to the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses.
Dev 14:26 “And you shall use the silver for whatever your being desires: for cattle or sheep, for wine or strong drink, for whatever your being desires. And you shall eat there before יהוה your Elohim, and you shall rejoice, you and your household.
Dev 14:27 “And do not forsake the Lĕwite who is within your gates, for he has no part nor inheritance with you.
Dev 14:28 “At the end of every third year you bring out all the tithe of your increase of that year and store it up within your gates.
Dev 14:29 “And the Lĕwite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you, and the sojourner and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, shall come and eat and be satisfied, so that יהוה your Elohim does bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.
Dev 15:1 “At the end of every seven years you make a release of debts.
Dev 15:2 “And this is the word of the release: Every creditor is to release what he has loaned to his neighbor, he does not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the release of יהוה.
Dev 15:3 “Of a foreigner you could require it, but your hand is to release whatever is owed by your brother.
Dev 15:4 “Only, there should be no poor among you. For יהוה does greatly bless you in the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you to possess as an inheritance,
Dev 15:5 only if you diligently obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to guard to do all these mitzvot which I am commanding you today.
Dev 15:6 “For יהוה your Elohim shall bless you as He promised you. And you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow. And you shall rule over many nations, but they do not rule over you.
Dev 15:7 “When there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, within any of the gates in your land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, do not harden your heart nor shut your hand from your poor brother,
Dev 15:8 for you shall certainly open your hand to him and certainly lend him enough for his need, whatever he needs.
Dev 15:9 “Be on guard lest there be a thought of Beliyaʽal in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of release, is near,’ and your eye is evil against your poor brother and you give him naught. And he shall cry out to יהוה against you, and it shall be a sin in you.

Dev 15:17 then you shall take an awl and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be your slave forever. Do the same to your female slave.
Dev 15:18 “Let it not be hard in your eyes when you send him away free from you, for he has been worth a double hired slave in serving you six years. And יהוה your Elohim shall bless you in all that you do.
Dev 15:19 “Set apart to יהוה your Elohim all the first-born males that come from your herd and your flock. Do no work with the first-born of your herd, nor shear the first-born of your flock.
Dev 15:20 “You and your household are to eat it before יהוה your Elohim year by year in the place which יהוה chooses.
Dev 15:21 “But when there is any defect in it, lame or blind, or has any evil defect, do not slaughter it to יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 15:22 “Eat it within your gates – the tam’ei and the tahor alike – as the gazelle, and as the deer.
Dev 15:23 “Only, do not eat its blood, pour it on the ground like water.
Dev 16:1 “Guard the month of Aḇiḇ, and perform the Passover to יהוה your Elohim, for in the month of Aḇiḇ יהוה your Elohim brought you out of Mitsrayim by night.
Dev 16:2 “And you shall slaughter the Passover to יהוה your Elohim, from the flock and the herd, in the place where יהוה chooses to put His Name.
Dev 16:3 “Eat no leavened bread with it. For seven days you eat unleavened bread with it, bread of affliction, because you came out of the land of Mitsrayim in haste – so that you remember the day in which you came out of the land of Mitsrayim, all the days of your life.
Dev 16:4 “And no leaven should be seen with you in all your border for seven days, neither should any of the meat which you slaughter in the evening on the first day stay all night until morning.
Dev 16:5 “You are not allowed to slaughter the Passover within any of your gates which יהוה your Elohim gives you,
Dev 16:6 but at the place where יהוה your Elohim chooses to make His Name dwell, there you slaughter the Passover in the evening, at the going down of the sun, at the appointed time you came out of Mitsrayim.
Dev 16:7 “And you shall roast and eat it in the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents.
Dev 16:8 “Six days you eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there is a closing festival to יהוה your Elohim – you do no work.
Dev 16:9 “Count seven Shavu’ot for yourself. Begin to count seven Shavu’ot from the time you begin to put the sickle to the grain.
Dev 16:10 “And you shall perform the Festival of Shavu’ot to יהוה your Elohim, according to the voluntary offering from your hand, which you give as יהוה your Elohim blesses you.
Dev 16:11 “And you shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim, you and your son and your daughter, and your male slave and your female slave, and the Lĕwite who is within your gates, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are in your midst, at the place where יהוה your Elohim chooses to make His Name dwell.
Dev 16:12 “And you shall remember that you were a slave in Mitsrayim, and you shall guard and do these appointments.
Dev 16:13 “Perform the Festival of Sukkot for seven days after the ingathering from your threshing-floor and from your winepress,
Dev 16:14 and you shall rejoice in your festival, you and your son and your daughter, and your male slave and your female slave, and the Lĕwite, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates.
Dev 16:15 “For seven days you shall observe a festival to יהוה your Elohim in the place which יהוה chooses, because יהוה your Elohim does bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be only rejoicing!
Dev 16:16 “Three times a year all your males appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which He chooses: at the Festival of matzah, and at the Festival of Shavu’ot, and at the Festival of Sukkot. And none should appear before יהוה empty-handed,
Dev 16:17 but each one with the gift of his hand, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which He has given you.
Dev 11:26 ‘See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse:
Dev 11:27 the blessing, when you obey the mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim which I command you today;
Dev 11:28 and the curse, if you do not obey the mitzvot of יהוה your Elohim, but turn aside from the way which I command you today, to go after other elohim which you have not known.
Dev 11:29 ‘And it shall be, when יהוה your Elohim has brought you into the land which you go to possess, that you shall put the blessing on Har Gerizim and the curse on Har Ěyḇal.
Dev 11:30 ‘Are they not beyond the Yardĕn, toward the setting sun, in the land of the Kenaʽanites who dwell in the desert plain opposite Gilgal, beside the terebinth trees of Moreh?
Dev 11:31 ‘For you are passing over the Yardĕn to go in to possess the land which יהוה your Elohim is giving you, and you shall possess it and dwell in it,
Dev 11:32 and shall guard to do all the laws and right-rulings which I am setting before you today.’
Dev 12:1 “These are the laws and right-rulings which you guard to do in the land which יהוה Elohim of your fathers is giving you to possess, all the days that you live on the soil.
Dev 12:2 “Completely destroy all the places where the nations which you are dispossessing served their mighty ones, on the high Harains and on the hills and under every green tree.
Dev 12:3 “And you shall break down their altars, and smash their pillars, and burn their Ashĕrim with fire. And you shall cut down the carved images of their mighty ones and shall destroy their name1 out of that place. Footnote: 1The names of the goy deities (mighty ones).
Dev 12:4 “Do not do so to יהוה your Elohim,
Dev 12:5 but seek the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses, out of all your tribes, to put His Name there, for His Dwelling Place, and there you shall enter.
Dev 12:6 “And there you shall take your burnt offerings, and your offerings, and your tithes, and the contributions of your hand, and your vowed offerings, and your voluntary offerings, and the firstlings of your herd and of your flock.
Dev 12:7 “And there you shall eat before יהוה your Elohim, and shall rejoice in all that you put your hand to, you and your households, in which יהוה your Elohim has blessed you.

Dev 12:13 “Guard yourself that you do not offer your burnt offerings in every place that you see,
Dev 12:14 except in the place which יהוה chooses, in one of your tribes, there you are to offer your burnt offerings, and there you are to do all that I command you.
Dev 12:15 “Only, whatever your being desires you shall slaughter and eat, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which He has given you, within all your gates. The tam’ei and the tahor do eat of it, of the gazelle and the deer alike.

Dev 12:22 “Only, as the gazelle and the deer are eaten, so you are to eat of it. The tam’ei and the tahor alike eat of it.
Dev 12:23 “Only, be firm not to eat the blood, for the blood is the life, do not eat the life with the meat.
Dev 12:24 “Do not eat it, you pour it on the earth like water.
Dev 12:25 “Do not eat it, that it might be well with you and your children after you, when you do what is right in the eyes of יהוה.
Dev 12:26 “Only, the set-apart gifts which you have, and your vowed offerings, you are to take up and go to the place which יהוה chooses.
Dev 12:27 “And you shall make your burnt offerings, the meat and the blood, on the altar of יהוה your Elohim. And the blood of your offerings is poured out on the altar of יהוה your Elohim, and you eat the meat.
Dev 12:28 “Guard, and obey all these words which I command you, that it might be well with you and your children after you forever, when you do what is good and right in the eyes of יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 12:29 “When יהוה your Elohim does cut off from before you the nations which you go to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land,
Dev 12:30 guard yourself that you are not ensnared to follow them, after they are destroyed from before you, and that you do not inquire about their elohim, saying, ‘How did these nations serve their elohim? Dev 13:1 “When there arises among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams, and he shall give you a sign or a wonder,
Dev 13:2 and the sign or the wonder shall come true, of which he has spoken to you, saying, ‘Let us go after other elohim – which you have not known – and serve them,’
Dev 13:3 do not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams, for יהוה your Elohim is trying you to know whether you love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being.
Dev 13:4 “Walk after יהוה your Elohim and fear Him, and guard His mitzvot and obey His voice, and serve Him and cling to Him.
Dev 13:5 “And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams is put to death, because he has spoken apostasy against יהוה your Elohim – who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim and redeemed you from the house of bondage – to make you stray from the way in which יהוה your Elohim commanded you to walk. Thus you shall purge the evil from your midst.
Dev 13:6 “When your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter, or the wife of your bosom, or your friend who is as your own being, entices you secretly, saying, ‘Let us go and serve other elohim’– which you have not known, neither you nor your fathers,
Dev 13:7 of the elohim of the people which are all around you, near to you or far off from you, from one end of the earth to the other end of the earth –
Dev 13:8 do not agree with him or listen to him, nor shall your eye pardon him, nor spare him or conceal him,
Dev 13:9 but you shall certainly kill him. Your hand is first against him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people,
Dev 13:10 and you shall stone him with stones until he dies, because he sought to entice you away from יהוה your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage.
Dev 13:11 “And let all Yisra’ĕl hear and fear, and not again do any such evil matter as this in your midst.
Dev 13:12 “When you hear someone in one of your cities, which יהוה your Elohim gives you to dwell in, saying,
Dev 13:13 ‘Some men, sons of Beliyaʽal, have gone out of you midst and led the inhabitants of their city astray, saying, “Let us go and serve other elohim” ’ – elohim whom you have not known –
Dev 13:14 then you shall inquire, search out, and ask diligently. And see if the matter is true and established that this abomination was done in your midst,
Dev 13:15 you shall certainly smite the inhabitants of that city with the edge of the sword, putting it under the ban, and all that is in it and its livestock, with the edge of the sword.
Dev 13:16 “And gather all its plunder into the middle of the street, and completely burn with fire the city and all its plunder, before יהוה your Elohim. And it shall be a heap forever, never to be built again.
Dev 13:17 “And none of that which is put under the ban is to cling to your hand, so that יהוה turns from the fierceness of His displeasure and shall show you compassion, love you and increase you, as He swore to your fathers,
Dev 13:18 when you obey the voice of יהוה your Elohim, to guard all His mitzvot which I command you today, to do what is right in the eyes of יהוה your Elohim.
Dev 14:1 “You are the children of יהוה your Elohim. Do not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead,
Dev 14:2 for you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim, and יהוה has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.

Dev 16:3 “Eat no leavened bread with it. For seven days you eat unleavened bread with it, bread of affliction, because you came out of the land of Mitsrayim in haste – so that you remember the day in which you came out of the land of Mitsrayim, all the days of your life.
Dev 16:4 “And no leaven should be seen with you in all your border for seven days, neither should any of the meat which you slaughter in the evening on the first day stay all night until morning.
Dev 16:5 “You are not allowed to slaughter the Passover within any of your gates which יהוה your Elohim gives you,
Dev 16:6 but at the place where יהוה your Elohim chooses to make His Name dwell, there you slaughter the Passover in the evening, at the going down of the sun, at the appointed time you came out of Mitsrayim.
Dev 16:7 “And you shall roast and eat it in the place which יהוה your Elohim chooses, and in the morning you shall turn and go to your tents.
Dev 16:8 “Six days you eat unleavened bread, and on the seventh day there is a closing festival to יהוה your Elohim – you do no work.
Dev 16:9 “Count seven Shavu’ot for yourself. Begin to count seven Shavu’ot from the time you begin to put the sickle to the grain.
Dev 16:10 “And you shall perform the Festival of Shavu’ot to יהוה your Elohim, according to the voluntary offering from your hand, which you give as יהוה your Elohim blesses you.
Dev 16:11 “And you shall rejoice before יהוה your Elohim, you and your son and your daughter, and your male slave and your female slave, and the Lĕwite who is within your gates, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are in your midst, at the place where יהוה your Elohim chooses to make His Name dwell.
Dev 16:12 “And you shall remember that you were a slave in Mitsrayim, and you shall guard and do these appointments.
Dev 16:13 “Perform the Festival of Sukkot for seven days after the ingathering from your threshing-floor and from your winepress,
Dev 16:14 and you shall rejoice in your festival, you and your son and your daughter, and your male slave and your female slave, and the Lĕwite, and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates.
Dev 16:15 “For seven days you shall observe a festival to יהוה your Elohim in the place which יהוה chooses, because יהוה your Elohim does bless you in all your increase and in all the work of your hands, and you shall be only rejoicing!
Dev 16:16 “Three times a year all your males appear before יהוה your Elohim in the place which He chooses: at the Festival of matzah, and at the Festival of Shavu’ot, and at the Festival of Sukkot. And none should appear before יהוה empty-handed,
Dev 16:17 but each one with the gift of his hand, according to the blessing of יהוה your Elohim which He has given you.
